Some people have noticed a confusing detail after the CEO ‘caught’ with a woman at a recent Coldplay gig resigns from his role.<\/p>\n

The video everyone is talking about took place at\u00a0Coldplay\u2019s<\/a>\u00a0Music of the Spheres concert at Gillette Stadium near Boston earlier this week.<\/p>\n

During the band’s kiss-cam segment, Astronomer’s former CEO Andy Byron was seen with his arms wrapped around Kristin Cabot, Astronomer\u2019s Chief People Officer.<\/p>\n

As soon as the pair realised they were being filmed, the married tech mogul from\u00a0New York<\/a>\u00a0unexpectedly ducked his head, while his colleague covered her face.<\/p>\n

Coldplay frontman\u00a0Chris Martin then joked<\/a>: \u201cEither they\u2019re having an affair or they\u2019re very shy.\u201d<\/p>\n

As far as we know, Byron is\u00a0married<\/a>\u00a0to Megan Kerrigan Byron, and Cabot is reportedly divorced.<\/p>\n

Astronomer’s CEO Andy Byron resigns<\/h2>\n

A few days after the video went viral, Astronomer\u00a0announced in a statement<\/a>\u00a0last night (19 July) that Byron has resigned from the company.<\/p>\n

“Andy Byron has tendered his resignation, and the Board of Directors has accepted,” a statement read.<\/p>\n

“The Board will begin a search for our next Chief Executive as Cofounder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy continues to serve as interim CEO.”<\/p>\n

Over on\u00a0X<\/a>, some viewers have questioned why Cabot hasn’t resigned too.<\/p>\n

One person wondered ‘why does Kristen Cabot keep her job?’ and thought that ‘she should step down as well.’<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s not just the ceo that needs to step down. You need to take action on your head of HR,” another tweeted.<\/p>\n

“Actually, I have to agree with this. She was in charge of human resources,” someone else said.<\/p>\n
