Astronomer has opened a formal investigation in the wake of its CEO, Andy Byron, getting caught with their head of human resources, Kristin Cabot, at the Coldplay concert in Boston on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n

The company has been thrust into the spotlight following the couple\u2019s affair getting exposed on the jumbotron at said show.<\/p>\n

After a day of silence, they have issued a statement, while revealing that an investigation is underway.<\/p>\n

\u201cAstronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability,\u201d<\/em> the firm said via LinkedIn<\/a> this Friday.<\/p>\n

The company promised more details.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Board of Directors has initiated a formal investigation into this matter and we will have additional details to share very shortly,\u201d<\/em> they added.<\/p>\n

Astronomer made sure to note that the woman shown smiling next to Cabot was not Alyssa Stoddard, claiming that there were no other employees at the event, while confirming that the statement from Byron going around is not real.<\/p>\n

\u201cAlyssa Stoddard was not at the event and no other employees were in the video. Andy Byron has not put out any statement, reports saying otherwise are all incorrect,\u201d <\/em>the company added.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Their \u201cvery shortly\u201d<\/em> can\u2019t come soon enough for social media, with users still having a field day with the incident.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
