The procedure was not the result of a heart attack.<\/p>\n<div id=\"mntl-sc-block_9-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-adslot mntl-block\"><\/div>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_10-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\">According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mayoclinic.org\/tests-procedures\/coronary-bypass-surgery\/about\/pac-20384589\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-type=\"externalLink\" data-ordinal=\"1\">Mayo Clinic<\/a>, &#8220;Coronary artery bypass surgery creates a new path for blood to go around a blocked or partially blocked artery in the heart.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div id=\"mntl-sc-block_11-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-adslot mntl-block\"><\/div>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_12-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\">&#8220;The surgery [often] involves taking a healthy blood vessel from the chest or leg area. The vessel is connected below the blocked heart artery. Taylor opened up about her parents&#8217; health and shared that &#8220;both of my parents have had cancer.&#8221; &#8220;I&#8217;ve had to learn how to handle serious illness in my family &#8230; It&#8217;s taught me that there are real problems and then there&#8217;s everything else,&#8221;
