Fans are adamant that one Chelsea player snubbed US President Donald Trump during the FIFA Club World Cup trophy presentation. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Chelsea won the newly revamped Club World Cup on Sunday evening<\/a> after easily brushing aside Champions League winners and tournament favourites Paris Saint Germain inside the MetLife Stadium.<\/p>\n

The Blues ran out 3-0 winners thanks to a brace from Cole Palmer and a goal by new signing Joao Pedro<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Apart from PSG<\/a>, Chelsea<\/a> also beat the likes of LAFC, Flamengo, ES Tunis, Benfica, Palmeiras and Fluminense on their way to glory.<\/p>\n

During the trophy presentation, Trump, 79, joined the Chelsea players as they lifted the final piece of silverware of the 24\/25 campaign<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Before that, as Trump and FIFA boss Gianni Infantino handed out the medals, fans spotted that one Chelsea star appeared to snub the US President.<\/p>\n

Footage on social media showed Chelsea youngster Tyrique George walking past Trump after receiving his medal.<\/p>\n

However, it has to be said that as George walked past, Trump had his back turned to collect another medal for the next Blues player.<\/p>\n

Trump appeared to say ‘Congratulations’ in the direction of George.<\/p>\n

Reacting on social media, one fan said: “Trump\u2019s face when Tyrique George snubbed him of a handshake.”<\/p>\n

Another tweeted: “Whether he meant to do it or not, Tyrique George did not shake Donald Trump\u2019s hand as Chelsea were receiving their Club World Cup champions\u2019 medals.”<\/p>\n

A third fan added: “I saw Tyrique George skip the Trump handshake lol.”<\/p>\n

Someone else wrote: “Tyrique noticed he was looking the other way and took full advantage lmao.”<\/p>\n

A fifth commented: “Looks like he started extending his arm and moved on because Trump wasn\u2019t looking.”<\/p>\n

Speaking after the match, Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca said: “Being Club World Cup champions is something we have to be very proud of.<\/p>\n

“We are very happy. Especially for doing it against PSG. As I said before, I consider them the best team in the world with one of the best managers in the world, fantastic players. So it was a top achievement.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
