A body language expert has broken down the reactions to Donald Trump joining in with the Chelsea FC celebrations at the FIFA Club World Cup on Sunday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Trump<\/a> was in attendance at New Jersey\u2019s MetLife Stadium, where UK<\/a> soccer team Chelsea F.C defeated Paris Saint-German 3-0 in a dominant display from the English side.<\/p>\n

A double from talisman Cole Palmer, plus a goal from new signing Jo\u00e3o Pedro, saw the Blues race into a 3-0 first half lead, while a straight red for PSG’s Jo\u00e3o Neves in the second half only piled more misery on the French side.<\/p>\n

The POTUS joined FIFA president<\/a> Gianni Infantino to hand over the trophy to the Chelsea squad after the match, and even joined in the celebrations.<\/p>\n

Trump awarded the prize to Chelsea captain Reece James, but while Infantino removed himself from shot, Trump stayed standing alongside the team as they celebrated their triumph.<\/p>\n

The whole cringe-inducing moment led to many on the internet labelling Trump’s behavior as ’embarrassing’.<\/p>\n

Body language expert Darren Stanton shared an insight into the reactions of the Chelsea players concerning Trump’s presence while they were celebrating.<\/p>\n

Speaking on behalf of OLBGI<\/a>, Stanton said: “Reece James, who’s got the trophy initially, I don’t think he’s too fazed by Donald Trump. I think he’s just like in the moment, he’s ecstatic about the win, holding the trophy up.”<\/p>\n

It’s talisman Cole Palmer who looks the most perplexed, with the body language expert adding: “Cole Palmer, who is standing behind Trump, it\u2019s quite a tight shot, and he\u2019s like \u2018What’s he doing here? Like what’s he got to do with it?\u2019.<\/p>\n

“Palmer looks a bit perplexed as to why Trump is there. He’s got a sort of look of confusion and bewilderment on his face.”<\/p>\n

Stanton also shared his insight into Trump’s body language, claiming the president is very \u2018disingenuous\u2019 during the celebrations.<\/p>\n

“I think Trump is so disingenuous, he’s got such a fake smile, a masking smile, it’s almost like a dad at a wedding, he’s trying to show excitement, but he’s like a fish out of water,” the expert said.<\/p>\n

“Trump makes these kinds of fist gestures and jumps up and down. I just think Trump is trying his best to get involved in the excitement, but not really authentic.\u201d<\/p>\n

Speaking after the match, Palmer admitted to being left perplexed by the fact that Trump didn’t leave the stage.<\/p>\n

He told press: “I knew he was going to be there, but I didn’t know he was going be on the stand where we lift the trophy. So, I was a bit confused.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
