RadarOnline.com<\/a>\u00a0can reveal the 47-year-old actor got overwhelmed when he joined\u00a0throngs of Swifties<\/a>\u00a0for one of Taylor\u2019s sold-out\u00a0Eras Tour<\/em>\u00a0gigs in London with his daughters.<\/p>\n

The show came after he\u2019d wrapped playing a\u00a0serial killer father<\/a>\u00a0in 53-year-old M. Night Shyamalan\u2019s new chiller, which sees his bloodthirsty character take his daughter to a\u00a0huge concert<\/a>\u00a0by fictional pop star Lady Raven \u2013 where he is told the FBI are hunting him.<\/p>\n

Hartnett said he thought the crazed fans shown in\u00a0Trap<\/em>\u00a0were over-the-top \u2013 until he saw the heaving mass of Swift\u2019s disciples in London.<\/p>\n

The actor added about what he called the \u201cmania\u201d surrounding Taylor: \u201cSome of the stuff, while we were filming\u00a0Trap<\/em>, I was thinking, \u2018God, this is a little\u00a0over the top<\/a>. The amount of the fervor of the audience, and they know every word\u2019. Then I went to the concert. I was like, \u2018No, it\u2019s exactly right.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hartnett has four children with his actress wife, Tamsin Egerton, 35, the eldest of whom turns nine later this year.<\/p>\n

He said preparing for Swift\u2019s gig meant repeatedly listening to her tunes with his girls for six months, adding: \u201cThe thing is, my kids weren\u2019t really into pop music so much last year when\u00a0we shot\u00a0Trap<\/em><\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n
