Former San Francisco Giants pitcher Tyler Walker flew to Texas over the weekend with his wife and friends to search for his brother Mark, sister-in-law Sara and 14-year-old nephew Johnny, who are all missing after their vacation home was destroyed in the deadly Fourth of July floods in Texas.<\/p>\n

\u201c[Mark, Sara and Johnny are] missing and not identified yet, so we\u2019re waiting on that,\u201d Kathy Walker, Tyler and Mark\u2019s mom, told\u00a0the\u00a0Marin Independent Journal<\/a>\u00a0from her home in San Rafael, Calif on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Walker, who played for the Giants from 2004-08, and his wife picked up their niece, 16-year-old Ellie, who survived flooding at Waldemar Camp \u2014\u00a0which is nearby the family\u2019s vacation home, \u201cRiver House,\u201d along the Guadalupe River.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll we can do is wait and pray for a miracle at this point. In a situation like that, waiting to find out if her dad and mom or brother, it\u2019s just, it\u2019s just dreadful,\u201d Kathy said, adding that she spoke with Tyler on Sunday.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019re doing what they can to look on the river. He said there\u2019s just so much devastation it\u2019s impossible to comprehend. The debris piles everywhere, cars and trees and limbs. Just everything is piled up.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kathy added that some of Ellie\u2019s friends from the summer camp are with her while Walker, Sara and their family friends continue searching for her parents and brother.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe does have support, but not enough \u2014 there\u2019s never enough,\u201d Kathy said, adding that Ellie is \u201cdistraught\u201d and praying hard. \u201cIn a situation like that \u2014 waiting to find out if her dad and mom or brother \u2014 it\u2019s just, it\u2019s just dreadful.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kathy told reporters she had been in regular contact with Mark last week, but hasn\u2019t heard from him after the flash flooding early on the Fourth of July.<\/p>\n

During a news conference on Monday, California Gov. Gavin Newsom confirmed that Mark, Sara and Johnny were missing and that their families are close.<\/p>\n

\u201cMark, his wife, and his 14-year-old son who was very close with so many kids, including my own son, in the Marin County area, they\u2019re missing,\u201d Newsom said. \u201cThankfully, their 16-year-old daughter was found. It\u2019s just another reminder of how devastating this tragedy is and obviously continues to unfold in just excruciating ways. Anyone with kids understands that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ellie\u2019s camp was separate from Camp Mystic, a girls\u2019 summer camp in Kerr County where\u00a0at least 27 campers and counselors\u00a0died in the floods.<\/p>\n

Kathy said someone sent her a photo of the remains of her son\u2019s home.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s crashed and gone,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Multiple vigils have been held for the Walkers.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span>At least\u00a0120 people have been confirmed dead after the flash floods hit Central Texas, according to local law enforcement and Texas Gov. Greg Abbott.<\/p>\n
