Donald Trump has recently made it clear that he isn\u2019t happy with Vladimir Putin and Russia has gone on to launch a major attack regardless.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Earlier this week, Donald Trump<\/a> warned that Russia<\/a> could face further sanction if the war in Ukraine<\/a> isn\u2019t resolved.<\/p>\n

During a meeting with his cabinet at the White House on Tuesday (July 8), Trump said Russia\u2019s leader Vladimir Putin<\/a> was \u2018killing a lot of people\u2019 in reference to Ukrainian forces.<\/p>\n

He also questioned Putin\u2019s determination into having a peaceful resolution<\/a> to the ongoing conflict.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cWe get a lot of b******t thrown at us by Putin. He\u2019s very nice all the time, but it turns out to be meaningless.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earlier this year in May, Ukrainian and Russian officials met for talks in Turkey but neither side has been able to agree on a temporary truce or a longstanding ceasefire.<\/p>\n

Despite this warning from Trump about sanctions, the Ukrainian capital has been hit overnight by 10-hour-long Russian missile and drone strikes.<\/p>\n

Lutsk and Ternopil, situated in the west of Ukraine, were some of the heaviest-hit targets. The strike has also caused a stir amongst NATO member, Poland, who share a boarder with the west of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

A statement from Warsaw\u2019s armed forces command said: \u201cIn connection with the attack by the Russian Federation\u2019s air forces carrying out strikes on objects located in the territory of Ukraine, Polish and allied aviation has begun operating in Polish airspace.\u201d<\/p>\n

This brutal attack on Ukraine also comes after Russia addressed reports that Trump had previously warned against an invasion of Ukraine<\/a> before he returned to the White House for a second term.<\/p>\n

According to a CNN report, during fundraisers while speaking to donors, Trump spoke of a conversation he allegedly had with the Russian leader.<\/p>\n

This was caught in a recording where Trump reportedly said: \u201cWith Putin I said, \u2018If you go into Ukraine, I\u2019m going to bomb the sh*t out of Moscow. I\u2019m telling you I have no choice’.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd then [Putin] goes, like, \u2018I don\u2019t believe you.\u2019 But he believed me 10%.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, it is not clear when and in which format these alleged conversations took place with the leaders.<\/p>\n

Russia dismissed the claims reportedly from Trump that he said this to Putin.<\/p>\n

The spokesman for the Kremlin Dmitry Peskov said: \u201cThe fact is that there were no telephone conversations then.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter all, we are talking, as far as I understand, about the period when Trump was not yet the president of the United States.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
