Donald Trump reportedly threatened Vladimir Putin with a major attack and Russia has hit back against these claims.<\/strong><\/p>\n

New audio of President\u00a0Donald Trump<\/a>\u00a0speaking to donors in 2024 has caused quite an international stir.<\/p>\n

According to<\/a>\u00a0a CNN report, Trump was speaking to wealthy donors at an event prior to becoming President for a second term.<\/p>\n

He told them how he had previously been very tough on Russian President\u00a0Vladimir Putin<\/a>\u00a0when it came to his invasion of\u00a0Ukraine<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In the recording, Trump reportedly said: \u201cWith Putin I said, \u2018If you go into Ukraine, I\u2019m going to bomb the sh*t out of Moscow. I\u2019m telling you I have no choice.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd then [Putin] goes, like, \u2018I don\u2019t believe you.\u2019 But he believed me 10%.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump then allegedly insisted he made similar comments when it comes to Chinese President Xi Jinping, telling him Beijing would be bombed if the nation decided to invade Taiwan.<\/p>\n

CNN has claimed the audio tapes were from fundraisers in\u00a0New York<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Florida<\/a>, which were later obtained by Josh Dawsey, Tyler Pager and Isaac Arnsdorf, who detailed some of the exchanges in their new book, 2024.<\/p>\n

However, it is not clear when and in which format these alleged conversations took place with the leaders.<\/p>\n

However,\u00a0Russia<\/a>\u00a0has now dismissed these claims as they released a statement addressing this.<\/p>\n

The spokesman for the Kremlin Dmitry Peskov said: \u201cThe fact is that there were no telephone conversations then.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter all, we are talking, as far as I understand, about the period when Trump was not yet the president of the United States.\u201d<\/p>\n

News of this alleged conversation comes after\u00a0Trump recently said he was frustrated with the Russian leader<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Trump spoke to the press after a cabinet meeting on Tuesday (July 8) and expressed his anger at Putin over Ukrainian soldiers dying in their thousands.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cI’m not happy with Putin. I can tell you that much right now.<\/p>\n

“We get a lot of bulls*** thrown at us by Putin … He’s very nice all the time, but it turns out to be meaningless.”<\/p>\n

Trump also hinted that he was considering another bill that would enact further sanctions on Russia.<\/p>\n

As well as this, Trump noted that he has approved for more US weapons to be sent to Ukraine in their fight against Russia.<\/p>\n

Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy responded to this indicating the need for speed in order to protect the nation and the people.<\/p>\n
