The attorney general Pam Bondi has had to address new conspiracy theories that have emerged following a video released by the FBI that they say proves Jeffrey Epstein killed himself. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Earlier this week, the FBI and the Department of Justice reiterated that there was no evidence that the disgraced Jeffrey Epstein was murdered<\/a>. They also insisted that he did not have a \u2018client list\u2019 to blackmail wealthy and\/or powerful individuals.<\/p>\n

Both groups released video footage of Epstein<\/a> being walked to his cell as well as footage that they say indicates he killed himself.<\/p>\n

The footage was from around 10.40pm on Aug. 9, 2019, when Epstein was locked in his cell, and around 6.30am the next day, when he was found unresponsive.<\/p>\n

However, eagle-eyed viewers have spread more conspiracy theories<\/a> when it was noticed that one minute from the recording was missing.<\/p>\n

Donald Trump<\/a>\u2019s attorney general Pam Bondi addressed this and attempted to give an explanation as to why there was a missing minute from the CCTV footage from outside of Epstein\u2019s prison cell.<\/p>\n

Speaking in a cabinet meeting she said: \u201cThe video was not conclusive, but the evidence prior to it was showing he committed suicide.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd what was on that \u2014 there was a minute that was off the counter, and what we learned from the Bureau of Prisons is every night they redo that video. \u2026 So, every night the video is reset, and every night should have the same minute missing.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo we\u2019re looking for that video to release that as well to show that a minute is missing every night. And that\u2019s it on Epstein.\u201d<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, this hasn\u2019t exactly quelled the talk of there being a wider conspiracy on social media<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Reddit<\/a> users reacting to the comments from Bondi dismissed her explanation and insisted they didn\u2019t believe her.<\/p>\n

One user commented: \u201cShe really thought she had a good excuse, didn\u2019t she? F*** these people are embarrassing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another commented: \u201cThey probably had a meeting and brainstormed this. They pushed all 3 of their collective neurons to the center of the room, rubbed them together and this is what they got.\u201d<\/p>\n

With a third adding: \u201cIt sounds like a detail right out of an Oceans-like heist thriller movie. \u2018At exactly 12:34 AM, the tapes change and so we have a one minute window\u2019 It\u2019s just not credible.\u201d<\/p>\n

While another joked: \u201cWe are less than 6 months in. Lol. They are going to completely and totally disintegrate in front of our eyes.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump has also remarked that he is tired of speaking about Epstein, as he made clear in a recent interview<\/a>.<\/p>\n

At a meeting yesterday (July 8) when asked about the FBI release he said: \u201cAre you still talking about Jeffrey Epstein?<\/p>\n

“This guy has been talked about for years… we have Texas, we have this, we have all of the things… and are people still talking about this guy? This creep? That is unbelievable.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
