WASHINGTON \u2014 President Trump expressed approval of\u00a0new Justice Department investigations into James Comey and John Brennan<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 calling the men \u201ccrooked as hell.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump was asked about the just-launched probes by Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy, who inquired if the president wanted the pair \u201cbehind bars.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, I know nothing about it, other than what I read today, but I will tell you, I think they\u2019re very dishonest people. I think they\u2019re crooked as hell, and maybe they have to pay a price for that,\u201d Trump said.<\/p>\n

The subject of the Comey probe is unclear, though he was\u00a0interviewed in May by the Secret Service\u00a0<\/a>after posting an image interpreted as a threat against Trump.<\/p>\n
