Latin music superstar Pitbull is adding a huge investment to update his personal portfolio.<\/p>\n

Pitbull, the Miami-based rapper known as \u201cMr. Worldwide\u201d and \u201cMr. 305,\u201d signed an incredible deal with Florida International for the naming rights of its football stadium Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The Panthers\u2019 field will be called Pitbull Stadium for at least the next five years.<\/p>\n

According to\u00a0ESPN<\/a>, Pitbull will pay the school $1.2 million per year for five years.<\/p>\n

According to the school, this deal will make it the first sports venue in the world named after a musical artist.<\/p>\n

In a statement, FIU Athletics Director Scott Carr called the move \u201ca historic day for FIU Athletics to uniquely partner with a world-renowned artist and amazing person who truly values relationships and his community.\u201d<\/p>\n

FIU\u2019s first home game of the season at the new Pitbull Stadium is scheduled for September 7 against Central Michigan.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, FIU announced that it secured a naming rights deal to transform FIU Stadium into Pitbull Stadium, named after the global superstar rapper and singer.<\/p>\n

With the deal, it becomes the first-ever athletics venue with an artist possessing the naming rights.<\/p>\n

Naming rights is just one thing, but Pitbull is slated to get even more perks.<\/p>\n

Per Front Office Sports, Pitbull will be able to use the stadium up to 10 days a year. His vodka brand, Voli 305, will also become the primary vodka served during games and events. He will also have access to two reserved suites during all home games.<\/p>\n
