Making it clear where she stands,\u00a0Charlize Theron<\/a>\u00a0slammed Jeff Bezos and Lauren S\u00e1nchez for their\u00a0over-the-top, lavish wedding<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Hollywood Reporter\u00a0<\/a><\/em>shared that the\u00a0Snow White and the Huntsman\u00a0<\/em>star called out the couple while hosting the fifth annual Block Party for the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project on Saturday.<\/h2>\n

\u201cI think we might be the only people who did not get an invite to the Bezos wedding,\u201d Theron told the crowd outside the Los Angeles event. \u201cBut that\u2019s OK because they suck and we\u2019re cool.\u201d<\/p>\n

The actress went on to thank the guests for \u201ctaking the time to be part of this [event], especially when the world feels like it\u2019s burning because it is.\u201d<\/p>\n

Seemingly turning her attention towards Bezos and S\u00e1nchez once again, Charlize Theron added, \u201cYeah, f\u2014 them.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jeff Bezos and Lauren S\u00e1nchez Allegedly Paid Millions of Dollars for Their 3-Day Wedding Celebration<\/h2>\n

Jeff Bezos and Lauren S\u00e1nchez exchanged vows during a three-day wedding celebration in Venice, Italy, last week.<\/p>\n

The couple exchanged vows on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore on June 27. The event reportedly began with Matteo Bocelli performing Elvis Presley\u2019s iconic song \u201cCan\u2019t Help Falling In Love.\u201d<\/p>\n

Among the event\u2019s 200 guests were Oprah Winfrey, Gayle King, Kim Kardashian,\u00a0Orlando Bloom<\/a>, Tom Brady, Usher and Leonardo DiCaprio.<\/p>\n

Reuters<\/a>\u00a0reported that the over-the-top celebration cost Bezos and S\u00e1nchez between $47 million and $56 million.<\/p>\n

Although the celebration seemingly went off without any issues, the couple dealt with protesters in Venice days before the event. The couple ended up moving their wedding in Venice due to \u201crising global tension.\u201d<\/p>\n

Italian media outlet, Il Gazzettino, reported that the days leading up to the first day of the event, June 26, would be \u201ctension-filled.\u201d The venue move was due to it being \u201ceasier to control\u201d as large-scale protests are expected to take place.<\/p>\n

Protesters even unveiled a large banner in St. Mark\u2019s Square to express their feelings about Bezos and his plans for a wedding in Venice.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you can rent Venice for your wedding, then you can pay more taxes,\u201d the banner reads.<\/p>\n
