Samuel L. Jackson does not fancy getting his kit off in-front of the camera.<\/p>\n

Being an\u00a0actor<\/a>\u00a0isn’t just the glitz and glamour of attending premieres and seeing your face on billboards, there’s also a lot of work which goes on behind-the-scenes in order to replicate the feelings and emotions of real life people.<\/p>\n

And when it comes to art imitating life, nothing is off the table \u2013 even our most\u00a0intimate moments<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Most sex scenes are now carefully managed by\u00a0intimacy co-ordinators<\/a>\u00a0to make sure that actors feel comfortable, although that doesn’t stop some performers actually\u00a0getting it on for real<\/a>.<\/p>\n

However the\u00a0Pulp Fiction<\/em>\u00a0star isn’t fully comfortable with the idea of being completely nude on the screen, for a pretty understandable reason.<\/p>\n

Touching on the subject during a 2016 interview with Sirius XM’s\u00a0The Howard Stern Show<\/em>, the 76-year-old revealed he’s unsure if his body matches up to the public image he’s cultivated.<\/p>\n

“I might ask for a d**k double,”\u00a0Jackson<\/a>\u00a0said, prompting Stern to ask if he doesn’t believe his manhood is substantial enough to be displayed on cinema screens and\u00a0TVs<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“I don’t know if it’s\u2026 yeah,” he replied.<\/p>\n

“I don’t know if it’s formidable enough. My aura’s so big, I don’t know if my d**k is big enough to fill my aura.”<\/p>\n

Jackson has starred in only a handful of steamy scenes throughout his decades long career, notably 2004’s\u00a0In My Country<\/em>\u00a0and 2009’s\u00a0Mother and Child.<\/em><\/p>\n

The actor went on to add that body hang-ups aren’t the only thing which make sex scenes uncomfortable either, adding: “You ask before you start, ‘Where can I touch you? Where shouldn’t I touch you?<\/p>\n

“Then you apologise for both reasons. ‘I’m sorry if I get excited’ and ‘I’m sorry if I don’t.’ Because sometimes it just ain’t happening!”<\/p>\n

Luckily for the 76-year-old, he doesn’t have to (Disney\/Marvel)<\/cite><\/div>\n

Fortunately for Jackson, he’s been able to carve out a prolific career without stripping off, thanks to characters such as Mace Windu, Jules Winnfield and Nick Fury.<\/p>\n

Nudity isn’t the only part of being an actor which makes Jackson uncomfortable either, with the\u00a0Marvel<\/a>\u00a0star recently revealing that receiving a certain compliment makes him recoil \u2013 being called a ‘legend’.<\/p>\n

Revealing his aversion to the phrase after being given the ‘Legend of Cinema Award’ at SCAD Savannah Film Festival back in 2020, the actor\u00a0told<\/a>\u00a0Entertainment Weekly: “Legends are people who accomplish things that can’t be accomplished by other people, or did something that’s super extraordinary.<\/p>\n
