Lizzo said she\u2019d tried \u2018everything\u2019 to lose weight, and now, she\u2019s telling the \u2018truth\u2019 about the part Ozempic has played in her dramatic lifestyle overhaul.<\/strong><\/p>\n

37-year-old\u00a0Lizzo<\/a>, who intentionally began her \u2018weight release\u2019 odyssey in 2023, announced earlier this year that she\u2019d seen a desired number on the scales for the first time since 2014.<\/p>\n

“Let this be a reminder you can do anything you put your mind to. Time for new goals!” she penned, reflecting on reaching her \u2018goal weight\u2019.<\/p>\n

Last month, the \u2018Truth Hurts\u2019 singer admitted on the\u00a0Just Trish<\/em>\u00a0podcast that she\u2019d briefly used\u00a0Ozempic<\/a>\u00a0in the hopes of dropping a few more lbs.<\/p>\n

Ozempic, an FDA-approved prescription medication, is designed for people with type 2 diabetes. Although it’s not approved for weight loss in the US,\u00a0celebrities<\/a>\u00a0like Kathy Bates and\u00a0James Corden have said they\u2019ve used it<\/a>\u00a0for this purpose in the past.<\/p>\n

Speaking about using the injectable in June, Lizzo confessed: \u201cI’ve tried everything.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s just the science, for me, calories in vs. calories out. Ozempic works because you eat less\u00a0food<\/a>. It makes you feel full. So, if you can just do that on your own and get mind-over-matter, it\u2019s the same.\u201d<\/p>\n

Now, Lizzo is setting the record straight on whether or not she has continued to use Ozempic for weight loss.<\/p>\n

On Thursday (July 3), the flautist shared two side-by-side images of herself with her 11.7 million\u00a0Instagram<\/a>\u00a0followers.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe photo on the left is my first time getting lymphatic massage from Flavia, and the right is the most recent!,\u201d she explained, tagging Brazilian beautician Fl\u00e1via Lanini in the post.<\/p>\n

The \u2018Juice\u2019 hitmaker, who included a mirror selfie with Lanini and another picture of herself in the carousel, used the caption to tell the \u2018truth\u2019 about her dramatic body recomposition.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn light of all these magazines and blogs wanting me to be on Ozempic soooo bad\u2014 here\u2019s the truth!<\/p>\n

\u201cI work my a** off, training 3x a week, daily sauna & cardio, adding animal protein back into my diet, hiring a chef who helps me meal prep and keeps track of what I put into my body in a calorie deficit,\u201d she typed.<\/p>\n

Lizzo claimed she\u2019s cut out sugary drinks from Starbucks, \u2018full-fat sodas and potato chips\u2019 in her desire to lose weight.<\/p>\n
