<\/div>\nLatah County Prosecutor Bill Thompson\u00a0shared details of the investigation<\/a>\u00a0into the murders of four University of Idaho students and summarized the case prosecutors planned to present at trial in court on July 2.<\/p>\n<\/div>\nHe made his remarks after Kohberger\u00a0confessed to the murders of four University of Idaho students:<\/a>\u00a0Madison Mogen, 21; Kaylee Goncalves, 21; Xana Kernodle, 20; and Ethan Chapin, 20.<\/p>\n<\/div>\nThat confession marked the end of a nearly three-year-long case that began in the early morning hours of Nov. 13, 2022, when the four victims were brutally stabbed to death in their off-campus home.<\/p>\n
