Combs was found not guilty of the most serious charges against him.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Teny Geragos, 34, <a class=\"class\" style=\"font-weight: bold;\" href=\"\/news\/article-14712767\/diddy-trial-lawyer-teny-geragos-cassie-ventura.html\" target=\"_self\">was one of Combs&#8217; &#8216;dream team&#8217; attorneys<\/a> who convinced a jury to find him not guilty on Wednesday on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, which could have seen him imprisoned for life.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Combs held Geragos&#8217; hand as he was found guilty on the lesser charge of transportation to engage in prostitution, which carries a maximum of 20 years behind bars.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The result is by far the biggest victory of Geragos&#8217; blossoming career, with some observers comparing the glamorous attorney to <a id=\"mol-88e28210-5763-11f0-aca1-4903afff8f8b\" style=\"font-weight: bold;\" href=\"\/tvshowbiz\/johnny_depp\/index.html\" target=\"_self\">Johnny Depp<\/a>&#8216;s former lawyer Camille Vasquez.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Vasquez became a famed attorney overnight after Depp won his defamation case against ex-wife <a id=\"mol-0be43460-575f-11f0-ae3d-cf723a7fc626\" style=\"font-weight: bold;\" href=\"\/tvshowbiz\/amber-heard\/index.html\" target=\"_self\">Amber Heard<\/a> in 2022, thanks to a brutal cross-examination of the Aquaman actress by Vasquez.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Before representing Diddy, Geragos had made her name in the legal world\u00a0with her unorthodox methods of defending Diddy&#8217;s innocence on <a id=\"mol-0c408530-575f-11f0-ae3d-cf723a7fc626\" style=\"font-weight: bold;\" href=\"\/news\/tiktok\/index.html\" target=\"_self\">TikTok<\/a> and primetime TV.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">She published a series of short one-minute clips last September after the music mogul was arrested and charged in New York City.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Geragos spoke out after a number of people pursued civil lawsuits after criminal charges were levied against Combs, alleging that many were not legitimate victims and were filing claims &#8216;in the hopes of trying to get a payday.&#8217;<\/p>\n<div class=\"artSplitter mol-img-group\">\n<div class=\"mol-img\">\n<div class=\"image-wrap\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"imageCaption\">Teny Geragos, 34, was one of Diddy&#8217;s &#8216;dream team&#8217; But this is not a complicated case. This case is about love, jealousy, infidelity and money,&#8217; Geragos told the jury of eight men and four women.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">&#8216;There has been a tremendous amount of noise around this case over the past year.
