Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has been denied bail by Judge Arun Subramanian after being found guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.<\/strong><\/p>\n The rapper will remain in custody while he awaits his sentence.<\/p>\n Judge Subramanian cited Combs\u2019 history of violence as a factor towards the decision to keep the music mogul behind bars until he is sentenced.<\/p>\n The jury in New York finally\u00a0reached a verdict<\/a>\u00a0on Wednesday (July 2) following the sex trafficking and prostitution trial which has been ongoing for two months.<\/p>\n They found Combs\u00a0guilty<\/a>\u00a0on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He has, however, been found not guilty of two counts of sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and one count of racketeering conspiracy.<\/p>\n In full, the five counts were as follows:<\/p>\n CNN reports Combs was apparently sat with his hands clasped in his lap when the reading of the verdict began in court earlier on Wednesday.<\/p>\n His head was in his hand upon the first ‘not guilty’ verdict being reached out, while CNN says he did a ‘subtle fist pump’ when he was acquitted for the second of the two sex trafficking charges.<\/p>\n Defense attorney Marc Agnifilo argued in favor of releasing Combs prior to sentencing, to which the judge asked, \u201cMr. Combs does not want to go back to the MDC?\u201d \u2014 a reference to New York City\u2019s Metropolitan Detention Center.<\/p>\n It is reported that Combs vigorously nodded his head ‘no’ and made prayer hands.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Courthouse News reports Combs was ‘pumping his fists and nodding’ while the verdict was being read out by the jury.<\/p>\n Following the verdict,\u00a0Cassie Ventura’s team have spoken out<\/a>, after Combs’ former partner testified against the rapper earlier on in the trial.<\/p>\n She\u00a0detailed her experience<\/a>\u00a0of the alleged\u00a0‘freak off’<\/a>\u00a0parties and\u00a0the abuse she claims<\/a>\u00a0to have suffered at the hands of Combs.<\/p>\n\n
