Elon Musk has reacted to Donald Trump’s remarks about possibly deporting him.<\/strong><\/p>\n

While Musk<\/a> and Trump<\/a> were once close pals, their relationship has since turned sour as they became embroiled in a very public spat on social media<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It all came after Musk stepped down from his duties in the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Some reports suggested he was fired from the position, while Musk insisted that it was always the plan to eventually step down.<\/p>\n

Shortly after his departure from the Trump administration, Musk criticized the POTUS’ controversial ‘Big, Beautiful Bill’ and branded it an ‘abomination’<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Things have grown increasingly more tense between the duo ever since.<\/p>\n

Now, as Trump continues to clamp down on immigration<\/a> in America, he was asked if he has any plans to deport Musk, who was born in South Africa.<\/p>\n

Speaking to reporters yesterday, Trump mused: “[Musk is] upset that he\u2019s losing his EV<\/a> mandate.<\/p>\n

“He could lose a lot more than that, I can tell you right now. Elon could lose a lot more than that.”<\/p>\n

The president was then asked about deporting the tech<\/a> mogul, to which he replied: “I don\u2019t know, we\u2019ll have to take a look.<\/p>\n

“We might have to put DOGE on Elon. You know what DOGE is? DOGE is the monster that might have to go back and eat Elon. Wouldn\u2019t that be terrible? He gets a lot of subsidies. Elon\u2019s very upset that the EV mandate is going to be terminated.”<\/p>\n

Musk himself has since responded to the president’s remarks. Replying to a video shared on Twitter<\/a> of Trump making such comments, Musk wrote: “So tempting to escalate this. So, so tempting. But I will refrain for now.”<\/p>\n

Musk’s seemingly-sinister reply comes after the SpaceX founder made a series of bombshell allegations about the president since stepping down from DOGE.<\/p>\n

In a now-deleted Tweet, Musk penned last month: “Time to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!”<\/p>\n

A few days later though, Musk made a U-turn<\/a> on his fallout with the president and said some of his posts ‘went too far’.<\/p>\n

He said: “I regret some of my posts about President @realDonaldTrump last week. They went too far.”<\/p>\n

The White House went on to react to Musk’s ‘bombshell’<\/a> and described it as an ‘unfortunate incident’ from the multibillionaire.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
