Randy Moss<\/a> has announced some massive news on his future after stepping away from television last season so he could focus on his battle with cancer.<\/p>\n

The former NFL<\/a> wide receiver is set to return to ESPN and will be back on \u2018Sunday NFL Countdown\u2019 for the 2025 season, having vacated his post on the network to undergo treatment for bile duct cancer.<\/p>\n

After being forced to miss the final two months of last year due to a cancer diagnosis, ESPN expects Hall of Fame WR Randy Moss to return to a full-time role on \u201cSunday NFL Countdown,\u201d the network confirmed to @AndrewMarchand<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Moss disclosed his diagnosis last December, telling fans he had experienced complications which eventually led to the discovery of a cancerous mass between his liver and pancreas. He received treatment in the form of chemotherapy and radiation, also going under the knife to have a stent placed inside his liver.<\/p>\n

The news came as a shock to the NFL community because Moss had continued to appear on television all while battling the disease. He started wearing sunglasses to hide the symptoms at one point, but broke down on television as he let the world know what he was going through.<\/p>\n

According to Andrew Marchand of The Athletic<\/a>, he\u2019s now set to be back full-time as he goes into his 10th campaign with The Worldwide Leader in Sports and will be part of the Countdown crew for Week 1, with ESPN referring to his comeback as \u201cthe highlight of the offseason.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Viewers will be overjoyed to have Randy Moss back on TV following what had to be a scary ordeal. His status as one of the greatest wide receivers in NFL history has presented him with in-depth knowledge of the game, and he has been sharing his wisdom for nearly a decade, making him a favorite among fans.<\/p>\n
