Former NFL<\/a> superstar Adrian Peterson<\/a> got into a fistfight with a poker player following a dispute over the popular card game.<\/p>\n

Peterson could get a rematch from the poker player he brawled with inside a Texas poker room in May. But this time, the fight might take place on Pay-Per-View instead of the JokerStars card room in Houston.<\/p>\n

Joe Castaneda, who got into a fistfight with Peterson in May regarding a poker game, told<\/a> TMZ Sports he would be willing to fight the Minnesota Vikings<\/a> legend in a sanctioned boxing match.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wouldn\u2019t shy away from it,\u201d<\/strong> he said during the interview published Sunday. \u201cThat would be totally up to him.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Now, his wish could come true.<\/p>\n

Damon Feldman, the founder of Celebrity Boxing, is now willing to have Adrian Peterson and Joe Castaneda fight in the ring.<\/p>\n

Feldman wants to create a real scrap between Adrian Peterson and Joe \u201cBaby Joe\u201d Castaneda after he saw the two fight over cards at a social club in Houston, Texas, in May.<\/p>\n

Adrian Peterson does have a boxing past, although not a very good one.<\/p>\n

Back in 2022, the former Minnesota Vikings running back faced off against former NFL star Le\u2019Veon Bell.<\/p>\n

Bell sent Peterson to the canvas in the fifth round of their September 2022 exhibition.<\/p>\n

The three-time Pro Bowler recalled landing the knockout blow, saying he didn\u2019t think at the time he had hit Peterson that hard.<\/p>\n

Peterson may have stopped boxing, but Bell would go on to fight twice more in boxing. He lost a unanimous decision to Uriah Hall in his professional debut in October 2022 but rebounded by winning a unanimous decision over YouTuber JMX.<\/p>\n
