Queen Maxima has spoken out about Donald Trump’s recent trip to the Netherlands.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Last week, the President of the\u00a0United States<\/a>\u00a0jetted to The Hague for this year’s NATO summit and during his visit oversees,\u00a0Trump<\/a>\u00a0seemingly earned himself a new nickname \u2014 ‘daddy<\/a>‘.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the press alongside Secretary General Mark Rutte, the duo addressed Trump’s expletive rant about\u00a0Israel<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Iran<\/a>\u00a0ending\u00a0their ceasefire<\/a>\u00a0after just a couple of hours.<\/p>\n

In the comments made to the press, he said the two countries ‘don’t know what the f**k they’re doing’.<\/p>\n

“They’ve had a big fight, like two kids in a schoolyard,” Trump said of the ongoing unrest to reporters.<\/p>\n

Rutte went on to add on the matter: “Daddy has to sometimes use strong language to get it stopped.”<\/p>\n

But away form Rutte calling the POTUS ‘daddy’ \u2014 something\u00a0he later clarified<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 it was Trump’s trip to visit to Queen Maxima and King Willem at the Huis ten Bosch Palace that got people talking.<\/p>\n

While the trio were posing for pictures, Queen Maxima appeared to\u00a0mock the way the president said ‘thank you’<\/a>\u00a0in video footage taken of their meet-and-greet.<\/p>\n

Reacting to this online, one person said: “WAIT A MINUTE WAS QUEEN MAXIMA OF THE NETHERLANDS MIMICKING DONAL TRUMP?”<\/p>\n

A second wrote: “Queen Maxima mimicking Trump’s mouth movements really got me.”<\/p>\n

But the Dutch queen has since denied that this was the case.<\/p>\n

Speaking to<\/a>\u00a0AD, Queen Maxima clarified that while she did say ‘thank you’, it was to someone who had helped rather than as a way to mock the president. She further branded her meet with Trump as ‘a pleasant experience’.<\/p>\n

21-year-old Princess Amalia echoed similar sentiments and said it was ‘really cool’ that she got to meet the POTUS.<\/p>\n

Amalia is one of Queen Maxima and King Willem’s three daughters. The couple also share Princess Alexia, 20, and Princess Ariane, 18.<\/p>\n

Another talking point of Trump’s visit to the palace was when he first arrived at the royal residency and shook King Willem’s hand in\u00a0an apparent assertion of power<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Speaking on behalf of\u00a0Genting Casino<\/a>, body language expert Darren Stanton has explained how Trump was ‘marking his territory’.<\/p>\n

He said: “As Trump exited his car, he looked almost like a cowboy entering a saloon. “His feet were spread apart and his hands were on his hips, almost making himself look as big as possible.<\/p>\n
