According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/articles\/c9vrrp8xvnlo\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-type=\"externalLink\" data-ordinal=\"1\">BBC<\/a>, this took place around 10:30 a.m. After vomiting again, Benedict was taken outside, where he collapsed. A first aid-trained teaching assistant administered\u00a0an adrenaline auto-injector, but he didn\u2019t respond. CPR was then attempted before emergency services arrived. I was shocked to have seen this,&#8221; adding that there was \u201cnever any suggestion of \u00adairway compromise.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div id=\"mntl-sc-block_35-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-adslot mntl-block\"><\/div>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_36-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\">Benedict had his cause of death corrected to food-induced anaphylaxis, according to Elizabeth Gray, the area coroner for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, <em>The Independent <\/em>noted.<\/p>\n<div id=\"mntl-sc-block_37-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-adslot mntl-block\"><\/div>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_38-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\">Per the outlet, his mother, Helen, told the inquest that Benedict had to &#8220;develop his own quiet kind of bravery&#8221; and was &#8220;more than his allergies.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div id=\"mntl-sc-block_39-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-adslot mntl-block\"><\/div>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_40-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\">\u201cHe lived with allergies and chronic asthma, and sometimes that meant missing out on parties, on snacks other children could eat, on ice creams from the ice cream van, but he never let it define him,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<div id=\"mntl-sc-block_41-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-adslot mntl-block\"><\/div>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_42-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\">She also told the inquest that her son was \u201cquick-minded and kind-souled,&#8221; and loved &#8220;playing numbers.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div id=\"mntl-sc-block_43-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-adslot mntl-block\"><\/div>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_44-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\">\u201cHis superpower was his kind heart, and it\u2019s that kindness that is so missing from our lives,&#8221; she added.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"loc
