Elon Musk has said that he is a 3,000-year-old time-traveling alien who is trying to return to his home planet.<\/p>\n

The billionaire<\/a> has made a lot of bold claims this year after throwing his weight behind Donald Trump in the presidential election.<\/p>\n

Following Trump\u2019s win, Musk<\/a> was named the head of the new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).<\/p>\n

While not actually a government department, the organization will take a look at the federal budget from the outside and Musk has promised to make $2 trillion in cuts<\/a>.<\/p>\n

However, just when you think you\u2019ve heard it all – things can only get more bizarre.<\/p>\n

Now the Tesla boss has claimed that he is a \u20183,000-year-old time-traveling and a vampire alien\u2019.<\/p>\n

Musk seems to spend a lot of time writing posts on his own social media platform X, formerly Twitter<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Making light of his presence on the site, the SpaceX<\/a> CEO shared a meme which read: \u201cWould you believe it, my neighbor was knocking on my door at 2.30 this morning.<\/p>\n

\u201cLuckily I was still up playing my bagpipes\u201d.<\/p>\n

In response, one user wrote: \u201cYou don\u2019t sleep because you\u2019re a vampire?\u201d<\/p>\n

Along with their reply, they shared a previous tweet from Musk which read: \u201cFull disclosure, I\u2019m actually a 3,000 year old vampire. It\u2019s such a trial assuming all these false identities over the centuries!\u201d<\/p>\n

Musk responded to the user with: \u201cI\u2019m a time-traveling vampire\u201d before adding that he is also an \u2018alien\u2019.<\/p>\n

Other users also took to X to respond to the billionaire.<\/p>\n

One user wrote: \u201cELON WHY ARE YOU STILL AWAKE.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another said: \u201cElon has memes on standby for any situation lmao.\u201d<\/p>\n

And a third person added: \u201cIt\u2019s nice knowing that Elon also has insomnia like the rest of us.\u201d<\/p>\n

Speaking about Musk\u2019s new role, Trump has revealed that DOGE will conduct a \u2018complete financial and performance audit of the entire federal government, and making recommendations for drastic reforms\u2019.<\/p>\n

In a statement, Musk said: \u201cThis will send shockwaves through the system, and anyone involved in Government waste, which is a lot of people!\u201d<\/p>\n

The department won\u2019t be full-time and will end on July 4 2026, on the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.<\/p>\n

Trump has said that a more efficient government will be a \u2018gift\u2019 to the country on that day.<\/p>\n

At a rally, the president-elect spoke about Musk\u2019s role, saying: \u201cI don\u2019t think I can get him full-time because he\u2019s a little bit busy sending rockets up and all the things he does.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe said the waste in this country is crazy. And we\u2019re going to get Elon Musk to be our cost-cutter.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
