In a viral video shared on her TikTok account, Ava Phillippe reacted to a fan who compared her and her boyfriend, Dakota Brubaker, to her famous parents, Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe.<\/p>\n

The budding actress took to her TikTok yesterday, June 11, 2025, to\u00a0playfully react via video<\/a>\u00a0to the comment that\u00a0reads<\/a>\u00a0“Close enough. Welcome back, Reese and Ryan.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Though the post is lighthearted, Ava’s message is clear \u2014 she\u2019s not a fan of that particular comparison.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Fans quickly picked up on the subtle nods in the video. Dakota appears wearing a black turtleneck and glasses, giving off “Cruel Intentions” vibes where her dad famously played the brooding Sebastian Valmont.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Ava even paired the video with The Verve’s “Bittersweet Symphony,”<\/i>\u00a0which played during the film’s iconic closing scene.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
