After being detained in the United States under the instruction of Donald Trump, social media sensation Khaby Lame has spoken out.<\/p>\n

It’s long been known that the President seeks to mass deport\u00a0immigrants<\/a>\u00a0from the US, announcing in his January inauguration speech plans for the ‘largest deportation programme in history’, as part of a ‘complete restoration of\u00a0America’.<\/a><\/p>\n

With this in mind, the 78-year-old announced last week that the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) will now be responsible for ensuring no citizens from a vast plethora of counties be permitted residence in the States. Check out the full list\u00a0here.<\/a><\/p>\n

It was also announced earlier this month that the White House increased its goal for ICE officials to make at least 3,000 arrests per day – and since then, workplaces, shops and hospitality venues have been scoured for individuals that have outstayed their visa limit.<\/p>\n

Naturally, the move triggered uproar from millions of left-leaning Americans, many of whom\u00a0flocked over to Los Angeles to join in a mass protest<\/a>\u00a0over the weekend.<\/p>\n

In response to the protests, however,\u00a0Trump<\/a>\u00a0ordered 2,000 National Guard troops to enter the Californian city – against the wishes of the governor, Gavin Newsom.<\/p>\n

The Republican leader claimed the decision had been spurred by the ‘violent protests threatening the security of and significant damage to Federal immigration detention facilities and other Federal property’.<\/p>\n

Whilst not in attendance at said protest,\u00a0Italian-born online star Khaby<\/a>\u00a0– who is best known for having the most followers on the video-sharing app\u00a0TikTok<\/a>\u00a0– was amongst the thousands of visitors to the States detained in recent weeks.<\/p>\n

A spokesperson for the ICE told press: “U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement detained Seringe Khabane Lame, 25, a citizen of Italy, June 6, at the Harry Reid International Airport, Las Vegas, Nevada for immigration violations.<\/p>\n

“Lame entered the United States April 30 and overstayed the terms of his visa. Lame was granted voluntary departure June 6 and has since departed the U.S.”<\/p>\n

As we say, the TikToker has since broken his social media silence.<\/p>\n

Returning to the web on Saturday (7 Jun), Lame seemed to brush right over his recent run in with the law by sharing a super wholesome photograph of himself alongside Hollywood veteran Will Smith.<\/p>\n

In the photo – which was originally shared by the\u00a0Fresh Prince\u00a0<\/em>star – the duo can be seen posing beside one another on what appears to be the red carpet of the premiere of Smith and Martin Lawrence’s latest project,\u00a0Bad Boys: Ride or Die.<\/em><\/p>\n

Reposting the pic, Khaby wrote: “Wow, what a great experience!<\/p>\n
