Elon Musk has been throwing some massive blows Donald Trump\u2019s way in the last few days but has done a U-turn following a Trump warning.<\/strong><\/p>\n

While\u00a0Elon Musk<\/a>\u00a0has the unofficial title as the\u00a0Donald Trump<\/a>\u2019s \u2018First Buddy\u2019, the pair have been at each other’s throats in recent days.<\/p>\n

For many, this seemingly came out of nowhere as the two were considered very close allies, while Musk worked with the Trump administration for the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).<\/p>\n

The duo\u2019s fallout appears to stem from\u00a0Trump\u2019s \u2018big, beautiful bill, that Musk criticized\u00a0<\/a>very strongly on his Twitter page.<\/p>\n

But while a slight disagreement is normal in politics now and again, things took a turn when\u00a0Musk insisted the Epstein files haven\u2019t been released<\/a>\u00a0because he\u2019s named in them.<\/p>\n

“Time to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files,” he alleged. “That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!”<\/p>\n

Musk added in a follow-up tweet: “Mark this post for the future. The truth will come out.” He did not provide any evidence for these claims, however.<\/p>\n

Jeffrey Epstein<\/a>\u00a0was awaiting trial for sex trafficking charges when he was found dead in his cell in August 2019 after he committed suicide.<\/p>\n

While Trump has addressed the crossing of swords between him and Musk, he has appeared somewhat uncharacteristically reserved, however,\u00a0he did issue a warning to the billionaire<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Asked specifically if he thought his relationship with the chief executive of\u00a0Tesla<\/a>\u00a0and SpaceX was over, Trump responded: “I would assume so, yeah.”<\/p>\n

Trump continued: \u201cI\u2019m too busy doing other things.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know, I won an election in a landslide. I gave him [Musk] a lot of breaks, long before this happened, I gave him breaks in my first administration, and saved his life in my first administration, I have no intention of speaking to him.”<\/p>\n

He added that there would be \u2018serious consequences\u2019 for Musk if he helped fund future Democratic campaigns.<\/p>\n

Trump added: “If he does, he\u2019ll have to pay the consequences for that,” but did not explain what those consequences would be.<\/p>\n

Most interestingly, Musk has deleted his tweets suggesting that Trump was in the Epstein files and removed other post calling for the impeachment of the President.<\/p>\n

While the warning and timing of the deletion may be unrelated, some have seen it as a way for Musk to backtrack the severity of his comments against Trump.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
