Elon Musk<\/a>\u00a0claimed President\u00a0Donald Trump’s<\/a>\u00a0name is in the Jeffrey Epstein files in a\u00a0post on X<\/a>, as the pair’s\u00a0public spat intensifies<\/a>.<\/p>\n “Time to drop the really big bomb,” Musk posted. “@realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public.”<\/p>\n “Have a nice day, DJT!,” the post continued.<\/p>\n In a follow-up post, Musk cryptically wrote: “Mark this post for the future. The truth will come out.”<\/p>\n Trump and Musk have been trading verbal jabs after the Tesla CEO criticized the controversial budget bill backed by the president.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n “I\u2019m sorry, but I just can\u2019t stand it anymore,” Musk posted to the platform he owns on Tuesday. “This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination. Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it.”<\/p>\n During an Oval Office press conference Thursday, Trump responded to Musk’s criticisms.<\/p>\n “Elon knew the inner workings of this bill better than almost anyone sitting here,” Trump told reporters. “He had no problem with it. All of a sudden he had a problem, and he only developed the problem when he found out that we’re going to have to cut the [electric vehicle] mandate, because that’s billions and billions of dollars.”<\/p>\n Trump also predicted Musk’s attacks would get personal after saying he was “very disappointed in Elon.”<\/p>\n
