A young man was taken into custody after breaching a secured Florida property owned by the U.S. President, claiming he intended to spread a message and pursue a personal connection to the president\u2019s granddaughter.<\/p>\n

A 23-year-old man from Texas was arrested on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, after allegedly trespassing at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida. According to an arrest report obtained by NBC News, the incident took place shortly after midnight and involved Secret Service intervention.<\/p>\n

Palm Beach police responded to the property, where they were met by Secret Service agents who had already detained the suspect, identified as Anthony Reyes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Authorities stated that Reyes\u00a0claimed<\/a>\u00a0he had climbed over a wall surrounding the property to “spread the gospel” to Trump and to “marry Kai,” referencing the president’s 18-year-old granddaughter, Kai Trump, the eldest daughter of Donald Trump Jr.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

According to the arrest report, Secret Service agents encountered Reyes on the premises and were\u00a0told<\/a>\u00a0by him that “he had jumped over the wall to get into property.” Palm Beach police confirmed that Reyes did not have permission to access the site, which is protected under federal security protocols.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The Secret Service released a statement regarding the breach. A spokesperson\u00a0said<\/a>\u00a0agency personnel detained Reyes after he “scaled a perimeter fence and triggered alarms.” The spokesperson\u00a0added<\/a>, “No Secret Service protectees were present at the time of this incident.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

NBC News also reported that Reyes had a\u00a0prior arrest on New Year’s Eve<\/a>\u00a0for trespassing at the same location. His latest arrest led to his booking at the Palm Beach County Jail, where his bond was set at $50,000.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Court records indicate that the conditions of his bond include having no contact with Trump or any of his family members, including his granddaughter. Reyes has pleaded not guilty.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Astonishingly, Tuesday’s arrest was not the first time Trump’s Florida property was the focus of a security breach. In the fall of 2024, two separate incidents brought national attention to threats targeting him.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

A Florida man, Ryan Wesley Routh, was accused of attempting to assassinate Trump at his golf course in West Palm Beach. Routh faced both state and federal charges related to the alleged plot.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

According to court filings, he\u00a0described<\/a>\u00a0the incident as an “assassination attempt” in a letter. A judge later ruled that he would remain in custody pending trial.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Another man, Warren Jones Crazybull of Sandpoint, Idaho, was charged with making repeated threats to kill Trump. According to court documents, Crazybull, then 64, made at least nine threatening phone calls to Mar-a-Lago on July 31, 2024.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

In one of the calls, he\u00a0said<\/a>, “Find Trump\u2026I am coming down to Bedminster tomorrow. I am going to down him personally and kill him.” Bedminster is the location of a Trump-owned golf club in New Jersey.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Mar-a-Lago staff alerted the Secret Service after receiving the initial call, and eight additional threats followed from the same number.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Court records stated that Secret Service agents verified Crazybull’s identity using phone data and voice comparison from a Facebook video. T-Mobile records also placed him in Montana at the time.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The same Facebook page, which has since been taken down, reportedly\u00a0contained<\/a>\u00a0more violent threats toward Trump, as well as references to Jeffrey Epstein, “John John Kennedy Jr,” and a so-called “shadow government.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Crazybull was arrested on August 1, 2024, and indicted later that month on a\u00a0federal charge of making threats<\/a>\u00a0against a former president. He pleaded not guilty. His trial was scheduled to begin on October 28, 2024.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

A Secret Service agent stated in an affidavit that Crazybull appeared confused and paranoid during an interview. He told investigators that he would not attempt to kill Trump but\u00a0admitted<\/a>\u00a0he would “not let” him become president again.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The calls followed a separate assassination attempt on July 13, 2024, in Butler, Pennsylvania, during a campaign rally. A gunman had shot Trump in the ear, which raised national security concerns. In response, the Secret Service confirmed it had increased Trump\u2019s security detail.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung commented publicly on the threats. “Kamala Harris and liberal Democrats are the ones who are deranged,” he\u00a0mentioned<\/a>. “There have been two heinous assassination attempts on President Trump, and their violent rhetoric are directly to blame.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
