Britney Spears has admitted who she lost her virginity to after deciding not to discuss the matter for the best part of three decades.<\/strong><\/p>\n

43-year-old\u00a0Spears<\/a>\u00a0has been a lot more open about her life ever since her controversial conservatorship with her father ended in 2021 after 13 years.<\/p>\n

Additionally, last year,\u00a0the pop star settled some issues with her dad out of court<\/a>, for an undisclosed sum.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0singer<\/a>\u00a0also released her new\u00a0memoir<\/a>,\u00a0The Woman in Me<\/em>, in recent times where she detailed parts of her life that have never been discussed before.<\/p>\n

Spears wrote that back when her career started, her publicists were keen to market her to the world in a very specific way, meaning she couldn’t detail the age at which she lost her virginity.<\/p>\n

She wrote: “The truth was, if you\u2019re young and single in\u00a0Hollywood<\/a>, if there\u2019s even a rumor that you\u2019ve had sex, you\u2019re labelled a slut. So my team created this whole narrative around me.”<\/p>\n

Spears pointed out that this was not a narrative that would really hold up in public life ,considering her high-profile\u00a0relationship<\/a>\u00a0with\u00a0Justin Timberlake<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“Given that I had so many teenage fans, my managers and press people had long tried to portray me as an eternal virgin – never mind that Justin Timberlake and I had been living together, and I’d been having sex since I was fourteen,” she penned in\u00a0The Woman in Me<\/em>.<\/p>\n

In the memoir, Spears explained how she lost her virginity at 14 years old to her brother\u2019s childhood best mate, recalling how she was a freshman and he was a senior at the time.<\/p>\n

Even after Spears and Timberlake spit in 2002, Spears kept up the lie forced onto her by her team, saying in 2003 that ‘two years into my relationship with Justin’ was the first time she had sex.<\/p>\n

“Why did my managers work so hard to claim I was some kind of young-girl virgin even into my twenties? Whose business was it if I’d had sex or not?” the ‘Toxic’ singer added in her memoir.<\/p>\n

Spears declared that she was ‘marketed as the eternal virgin, but it wasn\u2019t true’ and that she ‘was being shamed like I hadn\u2019t followed the script’.<\/p>\n

After her 13-year conservatorship ended in 2021, Spears said she wouldn’t wish the ‘pain’ of it on anyone and was finding it ‘extremely hard’ to accept what her family did to her during those years.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
