JoJo Siwa has addressed her sexuality while confirming her relationship status with Chris Hughes after recently revealing she\u2019s queer.<\/p>\n

It feels like there’s been constant updates regarding these two ever since they\u00a0first crossed paths on\u00a0Celebrity Big Brother\u00a0<\/em><\/a>earlier this year in April with the latest instalment in the saga seeing\u00a0JoJo<\/a>\u00a0gushing about how she’s ‘head over heels’ for Chris.<\/p>\n

Since their departure from the\u00a0ITV<\/a>\u00a0show, the pair have regularly featured on each other’s\u00a0social media<\/a>\u00a0accounts with one of the latest snaps, posted by Chris over the weekend, showing what looked like\u00a0a loved-up selfie<\/a>\u00a0of the pair from bed, showing him kissing JoJo’s head as she smiled.<\/p>\n

In a new interview with The Guardian, JoJo, 22,\u00a0confirmed<\/a>\u00a0that her relationship with 32-year-old Chris is no longer ‘platonic’.<\/p>\n

“People can see our chemistry, and they got to see it develop,” she told the outlet. “I think everyone’s just curious, and I can’t blame them.”<\/p>\n

After the interviewer suggested that Siwa was smiling ear to ear, the former\u00a0Dance Moms<\/em>\u00a0star gushed: “I am\u2026because we\u2026 we\u2026 we have…” before taking a ’20 second’ pause.<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s not platonic any more, and it\u2019s been a beautiful development, a beautiful connection, and I\u2019m absolutely head over heels for him and he\u2019s the same way,” JoJo eventually said of her new romance with the\u00a0Love Island<\/em><\/a>\u00a0veteran.<\/p>\n

While JoJo previously identified as lesbian, during her time on\u00a0Celebrity Big Brother<\/em>, she opened up about identifying more with\u00a0‘queer’<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In the Big Brother House, JoJo opened up to fellow\u00a0CBB<\/em><\/a>\u00a0housemate and drag queen, Danny Beard, about now wishing to identify as ‘queer’.<\/p>\n

Chris Hughes and JoJo Siwa initially insisted they were just friends (Snapchat\/Chris Hughes)<\/cite><\/div>\n

During a private chat in the bedroom, she told the\u00a0RuPaul’s Drag Race UK<\/em>\u00a0winner: “I feel so queer.”<\/p>\n

“I’m queer!” Danny responded, prompting JoJo to confide in them saying: “I’ve never – I think I’ve always told myself, I’m a lesbian.”<\/p>\n

“I think you – I think being here – I’ve realised I am not a lesbian, I\u2019m queer,” she shared.<\/p>\n

JoJo continued: “And I think that’s really cool, I’m switching letters! I’ve dropped the L and I’ve gone to the Q baby! That’s what I love about sexuality.”<\/p>\n

She echoed such sentiments in her interview with The Guardian, sharing that she still identifies her sexuality as ‘queer’ as the term ‘encompasses how I am, and who I am’.<\/p>\n

“There\u2019s a lot of different sexual identities. I think there\u2019s nothing more beautiful than somebody discovering themselves,” the reality TV star added.<\/p>\n

Siwa has since confirmed she identifies as queer (Instagram\/@itsjojosiwa)<\/cite><\/div>\n

Addressing the allegations that the newly-found romance is actually a PR ‘showmance’ stunt over a genuine relationship, JoJo defended: “Clearly, you\u2019ve never been around us.<\/p>\n

“I won\u2019t ever speak for him, but for me personally, the happiness in my life just radiates off of me right now. Literally yesterday, I was massaging my cheeks; I\u2019ve never [before] been in pain from smiling so much,” she beamed.<\/p>\n

JoJo later added: “I do live this very, very big public life that has so many eyeballs on it, and it can get really hard to navigate. But I\u2019m also living a human life.<\/p>\n
