50 Cent has vowed to take action after Donald Trump gave his verdict on whether he would pardon Diddy if he was convicted in his ongoing sex trafficking trial.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Diddy, real name\u00a0Sean Combs<\/a>, is currently on trial after being charged with racketeering and sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion in 2024.<\/p>\n

Ever since Combs\u00a0was arrested at the Park Hyatt<\/a>\u00a0hotel in Manhattan,\u00a0New York<\/a>\u00a0last September, he has maintained his innocence and has denied all the charges against him.<\/p>\n

Since the trial went underway a few weeks ago, numerous testimonies have been given by witnesses, including his ex-girlfriend\u00a0Casandra ‘Cassie’ Ventura<\/a>, who has\u00a0accused Combs of physical abuse<\/a>\u00a0during their relationship<\/p>\n

During a press conference at the White House on Friday (May 30),\u00a0Trump<\/a>\u00a0was asked about the trial and whether he’d extend Combs a pardon.<\/p>\n

Trump was asked whether he’d pardon Diddy (Prince Williams\/WireImage)<\/cite><\/div>\n

Refusing to rule out the possibility<\/a>, the president said: “Nobody’s asked. But I know people are thinking about it. I know they’re thinking about it. I think some people have been very close to asking.<\/p>\n

“First of all, I’d look at what’s happening, and I haven’t been watching it too closely, although it’s certainly getting a lot of coverage.<\/p>\n

“I haven’t seen him. I haven’t spoken to him in years.”<\/p>\n

50 Cent<\/a>, real name Curtis James Jackson III, has since issued a response to Trump’s comments with an Instagram post on Friday.<\/p>\n

The rapper, who has long had a feud with Diddy in the hip-hop\u00a0world<\/a>, wrote: “He said some really bad things about Trump, it\u2019s not ok. I\u2019m gonna reach out so he knows how I feel about this guy.<\/p>\n

“Donald doesn\u2019t take well to disrespect, and doesn\u2019t forget who chooses to go against him.<\/p>\n

“While working tirelessly to make America great again, there is no room for distraction. He would consider pardoning anyone who was being mistreated, not Puffy Daddy.”<\/p>\n

The reporter at the White House conference noted that back in 2012, Trump had previously said on\u00a0The Celebrity Apprentice<\/em>\u00a0that Combs was a ‘good friend’ of his, but Trump’s decision to head into politics changed that dynamic.<\/p>\n

The 47th POTUS added: “He used to really like me a lot, but I think when I ran for politics, sort of, that relationship busted up from what I read\u2026you become a much different person when you run for politics and you do what’s right\u2026our country’s doing really well because of what we’re doing.<\/p>\n

“I could do other things and I am sure he would like me to and I’m sure other people would like me to but it wouldn’t be as good for the country.<\/p>\n
