Kamala Harris didn’t hold back after a post-debate interview with Anderson Cooper in 2024, according to a new book, and her reaction allegedly included an expletive aimed directly at the CNN anchor.<\/p>\n

In “Original Sin,” a political book by CNN’s Jake Tapper and Axios’s Alex Thompson, the former vice president is said to have\u00a0privately cursed Cooper<\/a>\u00a0after what she reportedly felt was an unfair and tense exchange.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

This reportedly occurred after a\u00a0June 2024 interview<\/a>\u00a0in which Cooper pressed her about former President Joe Biden’s widely criticized performance during his debate with President\u00a0Donald Trump<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

During the heated exchange, Cooper\u00a0told<\/a>\u00a0Harris there were Democratic lawmakers who lamented Biden’s performance, “One said it was a disaster and another called it a trainwreck. Those are Democrats especially worried that Biden did not punch back on Trump’s lies.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Following the interview, according to “Original Sin,” Harris reportedly\u00a0vented<\/a>\u00a0to colleagues, “This mother[expletive] doesn’t treat me like the [expletive] vice president of the United States. I thought we were better than that.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
