Former President\u00a0Joe Biden<\/a><\/span>\u00a0had to shut down conspiracies he was diagnosed with prostate\u00a0cancer<\/a><\/span>\u00a0before last week.<\/p>\n

‘Prior to Friday, President Biden had never been diagnosed with prostate cancer,’ a spokesperson for Biden insisted on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

It added that Biden did not have have the test done to check for prostate problems since 2014.<\/p>\n

The statement came after President\u00a0Donald Trump<\/a><\/span>\u00a0repeated on Monday\u00a0conspiracies that Biden knew he had cancer for a long time<\/a><\/span>\u00a0\u2013 and that hiding the diagnosis was part of his team’s cover-up of his health decline while in office.<\/p>\n

‘I’m surprised that it wasn’t, you know, the public wasn’t notified a long time ago because to get to stage nine, that’s a long time,’ Trump said.<\/p>\n

Biden’s office revealed on Sunday that the\u00a0former president has an ‘aggressive form’ of prostate cancer<\/a><\/span>\u00a0that has metastasized and spread to his bones.<\/p>\n

The former president received an outpouring of support, including from Trump and the first lady.<\/p>\n

Joe Biden’s office was forced to respond after doubt surfaced over whether the former president knew while in office about his prostate cancer diagnosis. A day later, Biden posted a smiling selfie to X alongside wife Jill Biden, who was holding their cat Willow<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

‘Melania and I are saddened to hear about Joe Biden’s recent medical diagnosis,’ Trump posted to Truth Social on Sunday.<\/p>\n

He added: ‘We extend our warmest and best wishes to Jill and the family,\u00a0and we wish Joe a fast and successful recovery.’<\/p>\n

But doubt over the timing of the diagnosis swift grew considering that Biden, as president, was likely routinely checked for the levels that indicate prostate cancer.<\/p>\n

When in office presidents receive thorough annual physicals.<\/p>\n

This would likely include for someone of Biden’s age a Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) test,<\/a><\/span>\u00a0which measures the level of PSA in the blood. If elevated, this marker could indicate prostate cancer or other prostate conditions.<\/p>\n

Biden’s physician Dr. Kevin O’Connor wrote in a statement after a check-up in February 2024: ‘The President feels well and this year’s physical identified no new concerns. He continues to be fit for duty and fully executes all of his responsibilities without any exemptions or accommodations.’<\/p>\n

His office stated on Tuesday:\u00a0‘President Biden’s last known PSA was in 2014.’<\/p>\n

Additionally, the president’s eldest son Donald Trump Jr. fanned the flames of the conspiracy along with and other members of the online MAGAverse who started stirring the pot over whether a cover-up was afoot.<\/p>\n

‘What I want to know is how did Dr. Jill Biden\u00a0miss stage five metastatic cancer or is this yet another cover-up???’ Trump Jr. mused of the former president’s wife.<\/p>\n

Dr. Biden, the former first lady, is not a medical doctor.\u00a0She has a Ph.D in education.<\/p>\n

President Donald Trump hinted that he wanted to see President Joe Biden’s medical doctor be investigated after the former president’s shock cancer diagnosis<\/p>\n

The online MAGAverse is questioning whether Biden knew about his cancer a long time ago and if his diagnosis was part of the cover-up of his declining health while in office<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

After bragging on Monday about acing his own physical exam – and noting that he had taken a cognitive test – President Trump suggested something was awry with Biden’s\u00a0White House<\/a><\/span>\u00a0doctor.<\/p>\n

‘I think that if you look, it’s the same doctor that said that Joe was cognitively fine. There was nothing wrong with him,’ Trump said. ‘Maybe it was the same doctor, and somebody is not telling the facts.’<\/p>\n

He said that while he felt ‘badly’ about the diagnosis, but added: ‘I think people should try and find out what happened.’<\/p>\n

After Biden bombed his debate against Trump in late June last year, questions about his fitness for office got even louder.<\/p>\n

Then White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre\u00a0initially bungled a response<\/a><\/span>\u00a0when asked why a Parkinson’s disease expert had visited the White House multiple times.<\/p>\n

Additionally, Biden’s White House physician,\u00a0Dr. O’Connor, never took questions from the press, unlike Trump’s original White House physician, Dr. Ronny Jackson, now a MAGA-aligned Republican representing Texas in Congress.<\/p>\n

Trump’s second White House doctor, Dr. Sean Conley, addressed the press when Trump contracted COVID-19 just weeks before the 2020 election.<\/p>\n

Conley was criticized, however, for painting a much-too-rosy picture of Trump’s battle with the disease, which could have turned deadly.<\/p>\n

Throughout Biden’s term,\u00a0O’Connor stayed away from the cameras.<\/p>\n

Biden’s daughter Ashley posted an image to Insatgram alongside her father and promised: ‘I will be right by his side through it all. Like he has been by mine every day of my life’<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

A statement on Biden’s diagnosis on Sunday notes: ‘Last week, President Joe Biden was seen for a new finding of a prostate nodule after experiencing increasing urinary symptoms.’<\/p>\n

‘On Friday, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, characterized by a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5) with metastasis to the bone,’ it adds of the grave prognosis.<\/p>\n

Prostate cancers are given a ‘Gleason score’ that measures how the cancerous cells look compared with normal cells. Biden’s score of 9 suggests his cancer is among the most advance and severe.<\/p>\n

Biden’s office noted: ‘While this represents a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer appears to be hormone-sensitive which allows for effective management.’<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
