The president has been slammed for making Joe Biden’s cancer diagnosis ‘all about himself’ in comments to the press.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Sunday (May 18),\u00a0Biden’s<\/a>\u00a0office confirmed the former president has been diagnosed\u00a0with ‘aggressive’ prostate cancer<\/a>\u00a0that has ‘metastasised to the bone’.<\/p>\n

The 82-year-old was seen by medics last week for urinary symptoms when a new ‘prostate nodule’ was found that they confirm has been ‘characterized by a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5)’.<\/p>\n

Fortunately, doctors say the cancer appears to be ‘hormone-sensitive,’ meaning it can be effectively managed with treatment.<\/p>\n

Now, his successor, President\u00a0Donald Trump<\/a>, has appeared to make an insensitive comment about his\u00a0political<\/a>\u00a0rival.<\/p>\n

Speaking to reporters from the Oval Office, the POTUS said: “I think it’s very sad actually, I’m surprised that the public wasn’t notified a long time ago because to get to stage 9, that’s a long time.”<\/p>\n

In actuality, Biden’s cancer has\u00a0a score of nine points on the Gleason scale<\/a>, which assesses how abnormal cancer cells are on a scale of two to 10.<\/p>\n

This does put him in the highest Group 5, which means the cancer is likely to spread quickly, but does not mean he has ‘stage 9 cancer’.<\/p>\n

Trump reiterated the false claim of Biden’s ‘stage 9’\u00a0cancer<\/a>\u00a0again, suggesting that there are ‘things going on that the public wasn’t informed [of]’ and hinted an investigation should be launched into the Democrat’s medical assessments.<\/p>\n

He went on: “It’s very dangerous. Look, this is no longer politically correct, this is dangerous for our country.<\/p>\n

“Look at the mess we’re in and you’re talking about these questions on\u00a0Ukraine<\/a>\u00a0and Russia, that would have never happened as an example, if I were president, it would never have happened.<\/p>\n

“The other thing is why did it take so long? It can take years to get to this level of danger.<\/p>\n

“So look it’s a very, very sad situation, I feel badly about it and I think people should try find out what happened.<\/p>\n

“Somebody is not telling the facts, that’s a big problem.”<\/p>\n

The president also appeared to gloat about his own physical test results, including cognitive tests, stating he is ‘proud’ to have ‘aced it’.<\/p>\n

Dozens have since slammed the 78-year-old for his comments, stating he made it ‘all about him’.<\/p>\n

“He is disgusting at times,” one viewer wrote on\u00a0Twitter<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“As usual, he managed to make a question about Biden’s cancer diagnosis all about himself,” said another.<\/p>\n

A third chimed: “Mentioning ‘Stage 9’ and then bragging about acing his cognitive tests, is the kinda irony he genuinely excels at.”<\/p>\n

The comments come as his eldest son, Donald Trump Jr.,\u00a0faced similar backlash<\/a>\u00a0for suggesting Biden’s wife, ‘Dr. Jill Biden’ managed to ‘miss stage five metastatic cancer’ and alluded to a ‘cover up.’<\/p>\n

But many pointed out the former first lady is not a medical doctor, as Jill has a PhD in\u00a0education<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Don Jr has since hit back that his post was ‘sarcasm’.<\/p>\n

Several other of Trump’s allies have also suggested they believe the 46th POTUS had suffered poor health while in office.<\/p>\n

Vice president JD Vance said to reporters: \u201cWe really do need to be honest about whether the former president was capable of doing the job.\u201d<\/p>\n

The\u00a0health<\/a>\u00a0of the former POTUS was a prevailing concern for voters during his time as president – and during his bid for a second term, particularly following a bewildering 90-minute debate against Trump.<\/p>\n

The White House released a statement at the time that denied he was suffering from Alzheimer’s.<\/p>\n
