Kerry Morgan testified about the alleged abuse her friend Cassie Ventura suffered at the hands of Sean Combs<\/p>\n
Sean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs<\/a>\u00a0allegedly attacked\u00a0Casandra “Cassie” Ventura’s<\/a>\u00a0best friend with a wooden coat hanger, an incident so jarring she ended her friendship with the R&B singer, she testified on Monday, May 19.<\/p>\n Model Kerry Morgan, 39, said on the witness stand during the mogul’s sex trafficking trial that she saw him assault Ventura, 38, at her home in the Hollywood Hills and in Jamaica.<\/p>\n Morgan alleged that she witnessed him \u201chit her, pull her hair, kick her, push her.\u201d<\/p>\n During the incident at Ventura’s Hollywood Hills home, Morgan said she saw Combs push Ventura and was \u201cpretty sure\u201d he also punched and kicked her.<\/p>\n During the alleged assault, Morgan yelled to a nearby security guard to \u201cdo something,\u201d but he allegedly refused.<\/p>\n Terrified, Morgan and Ventura ran to a neighbor\u2019s house where they hid for hours while Combs searched for them, she testified.<\/p>\n In Jamaica in 2013, Morgan testified about an occasion when she heard Ventura let out \u201cguttural\u201d and \u201cterrifying\u201d screams.<\/p>\n She had no idea what was happening until she saw Combs allegedly dragging her friend by the hair, she testified.<\/p>\n Combs allegedly unleashed his fury on Morgan at Ventura’s Hollywood Hills home in 2018.<\/p>\n While Ventura was in the bathroom, Combs made a surprise visit to the apartment.<\/p>\n \u201cHe came up behind me and choked me, and boomeranged a wooden hanger around my head,\u201d Morgan testified.<\/p>\n Angry, Combs accused Ventura of cheating on him and demanded to know who it was, which Morgan did not know, she testified.<\/p>\n Later on, at Combs’ request, she signed a non-disclosure agreement not to speak about the incident in exchange for a $30,000 payment, she testified. She never spoke to Ventura or Combs after that night, she said.<\/p>\n \u201cShe lost her confidence big-time,\u201d Morgan said on the stand, recalling the years of Cassie\u2019s relationship with Combs. \u201cShe lost her spark.\u201d<\/p>\n Morgan testified that she urged Cassie to leave Combs. \u201cI wanted her to do what she wanted to do, but I told her she should leave him,\u201d Morgan testified. \u201cAnd she said she could not, because of her job, her car, her apartment.\u201d<\/p>\n Arrested in September 2024, the Bad Boy Entertainment founder is charged with racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution.\u00a0Combs pleaded not guilty to all charges.<\/a><\/p>\n On Friday, May 16 and Monday, May 19, former Danity Kane singer\u00a0Dawn Richard\u00a0<\/a>testified about how she saw Combs hit Ventura in the head with a skillet full of eggs \u2014 and threaten both women.<\/p>\n Want to keep up with the latest crime coverage? Since his 2024 arrest, he has been held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.<\/p>\n
