Ventura\u00a0<\/a>in the elevator bank of a Los Angeles hotel, she is seen curled up in a ball as she takes the brunt of his wrath.<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_5-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\">On the stand at Combs&#8217; high-profile federal sex crimes trial on Wed., May 14, the R&amp;B singer told jurors why she didn&#8217;t fight back.<\/p>\n<div id=\"mntl-sc-block_6-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-adslot mntl-block\"><\/div>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_7-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\">Doing so, she testified, &#8220;just made him more violent, made him stronger.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div id=\"mntl-sc-block_8-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-adslot mntl-block\"><\/div>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_9-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\">Wearing a body-hugging grey dress with a black jacket she took off shortly after sitting down to testify, the eight-months pregnant Ventura told jurors that in the past, his response to her defending herself varied.<\/p>\n<div id=\"mntl-sc-block_10-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-adslot mntl-block\"><\/div>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_11-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\">&#8220;He was surprised I was actually fighting back\u2014 it made him have more anger, more frustration,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n<div id=\"mntl-sc-block_12-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-adslot mntl-block\"><\/div>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_13-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\">The &#8220;Me &amp;
