WASHINGTON, DC: President\u00a0Donald Trump<\/a>\u00a0added a new sculpture to the Oval Office that depicts the aftermath of the July 2024 assassination attempt on him in Butler, Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n

The sculpture was seen on a side table next to the\u00a0POTUS<\/a>‘ Resolute Desk on Friday, May 9, when Trump signed several executive orders in front of reporters, per the\u00a0New York Post<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Trump adds sculpture depicting aftermath of Butler assassination attempt in Oval Office<\/h2>\n

The statue shows President Trump raising his fist in the air, just moments after being hit in the ear by\u00a0Thomas Matthew Crooks<\/a>\u2019 bullets on July 13 last year.<\/p>\n

The former Republican nominee shouted “Fight Fight! Fight!” at rallygoers at the Butler Farm Show Grounds, during the iconic moment, which was captured by the artist, per the outlet.<\/p>\n

The sculpture also contains three\u00a0Secret Service<\/a>\u00a0agents, including the current director of the agency, Sean Curran, ushering Trump offstage.<\/p>\n

The art piece also has the American flag hanging vertically behind Trump, as it was in Butler.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the White House did not provide any details about the art piece to the outlet, but it seems to be the work of Stan Watts, who plans to build a 9-foot tall bronze statue capturing the moment, per the\u00a0Trump Statute Project website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Other art pieces depicting Trump’s Butler assassination attempt<\/h2>\n

Interestingly, the Oval Office statue is not the only piece of art related to the\u00a0Butler assassination attempt<\/a>, which is on display at the White House.<\/p>\n

In April 2025, a painting of one of the iconic images captured by New York Times photographer Doug Mills in Butler was seen hanging in a prominent spot in the Grand Foyer of the East Wing of the White House.<\/p>\n

The artwork by Marc Lipp also shows Trump with blood splattered across his face and the American flag in the background, raising his fist after the shooting, per the outlet.<\/p>\n

Moreover, the POTUS has added his personal touch across the West Wing since taking office this January.<\/p>\n

The president added ornate, gold flourishes to the furniture, fireplace, and walls of the Oval Office, similar to the decor at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach.<\/p>\n

Moreover, he also lined the West Wing with the front pages of The New York Post portraying his political comeback, including Trump\u2019s Georgia mug shot, which hangs on a wall just outside the Oval Office.<\/p>\n
