Donald Trump once wanted a comedian \u2018deported\u2019 for what he did to him when he visited a UK golf course.<\/strong><\/p>\n Trump<\/a>, 78, is one of the most spoken about people on the planet and is currently in his second presidency of the United States, having been voted in back in November 2024 – he was previously president from 2017 to 2021.<\/p>\n But aside from dealing with US and world affairs, he often winds down by playing golf at lavish courses around the world \u2013 many of which he owns.<\/p>\n And the 78-year-old is supposedly relatively gifted with a club in his hand, with\u00a0Today\u2019s Golfer<\/a>\u00a0reporting that \u201che is a steady single-digit player who hits a solid deceptively long ball\u2026. and he plays quickly, very quickly\u201d.<\/p>\n Typically, a golf course is a relaxed, idyllic environment, but this was certainly not the case at Trump Turnberry Golf Resort in Ayr, Scotland, back in 2016 when things took an unexpected turn.<\/p>\n A comedian under the alter ego Simon Brodkin \u2013 formerly Lee Nelson \u2013 made world news at the time after interrupting the re-opening of the resort by handing out Nazi-themed balls with swastikas emblazoned on them.<\/p>\n Nelson, 47, claimed that Trump \u201cwanted to throw the book at him\u201d before Police Scotland intervened and “convinced Trump to not press charges”.<\/p>\n \u201cI do have a criminal record, but also a lot to thank the Scottish police for – they were brilliant,\u201d Nelson told\u00a0The Scottish Sun<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cTrump wanted to really throw the book at me, and the Scottish police convinced him not to press charges.<\/p>\n \u201cWho wants to get waterboarded by the CIA when you can have an Irn Bru in the back of a police van?<\/p>\n \u201cI was in there for ages with the coppers, and it felt more like I was on a stag do than anything else. They drove me to the airport and put me on a plane back to London and told Trump and his team I was deported.\u201d<\/p>\n And this was not first time, Nelson had taken part in pranking a high-profile global figure.<\/p>\n Former UK Prime Minister Theresa May, ex-FIFA President Sepp Blatter and Kanye West have all been left red-faced by the comedian.<\/p>\n However, Nelson admitted that some people are off-limits when it comes to pranks.<\/p>\n
