Image Credits: Getty<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Trump and Starmer Applaud fantastic deal to strengthen US-UK economic ties.<\/p>\n<p>Trump announced the agreement via Truth Social on May 7, teasing a press conference about a \u201cMAJOR TRADE DEAL.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"google-auto-placed ap_container\"><\/div>\n<p>Additionally, he called the UK a \u201cBIG, AND HIGHLY RESPECTED COUNTRY,\u201d stating this was the \u201cFIRST OF MANY\u201d upcoming deals.<\/p>\n<p>He wrote: \u201cBig News Conference tomorrow morning at 10:00 A.M., The Oval Office, concerning a MAJOR TRADE DEAL WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF A BIG, AND HIGHLY RESPECTED, COUNTRY.
