Kylie Jenner and her beau Timothee Chalamet suffered an awkward moment at this year\u2019s David Di Donatello Awards in Italy shortly after making their long-awaited red carpet debut.<\/p>\n

The pair stepped out onto the red carpet together at the ceremony, where Chalamet was honoured with the David Speciale award.<\/p>\n

This blunder comes just days after the actor left fans disappointed when he shared that he and Jenner would not be attending the\u00a0Met Gala<\/a>.<\/p>\n

So many people were excited to see them at the big\u00a0fashion<\/a>\u00a0event, and thought that this would be their couple debut on the red carpet.<\/p>\n

But it was not meant to be.<\/p>\n

Even thought the pair have been to high profile events together, such as\u00a0this year’s BAFTAs<\/a>, their red carpet serve was saved for Italy.<\/p>\n

While\u00a0celebrities<\/a>\u00a0were busy getting their garments on,\u00a0Chalamet<\/a>\u00a0posted a video on Instagram showing he was sat in front of his\u00a0TV<\/a>\u00a0watching ‘French NBA analysis’ instead.<\/p>\n

He then shared a selfie with friends, signalling he was not going to the event.<\/p>\n

Pop Base re-shared the photo on Twitter, stating: “Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet shares new photo not at the Met Gala.”<\/p>\n

“‘Not at the Met Gala,'” one person quoted and added two crying emojis.<\/p>\n

“He would\u2019ve ate this theme,” another said.<\/p>\n

Anyway, in Italy, when Chalamet’s name was announced on stage at the awards do, he and Jenner kissed, but then an awkward moment seemingly happened when he ‘missed’ her second kiss.<\/p>\n

Fans who saw the exchange immediately took to social media to call it out and air out their thoughts.<\/p>\n

The pair have become a topic of conversation online (Dave Benett\/VF25\/WireImage for Vanity Fair)<\/cite><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

On TikTok, a user uploaded a clip of the exchange, with people writing: “Awkward double kiss”<\/p>\n

Someone else wrote: “Hahaha she wanted more”<\/p>\n

Another said: “Someone was talking to Timothee at back, he didn’t noitce the second kiss.”<\/p>\n

A user commented: “He didn’t care about the second kiss, awkward at this moment.”<\/p>\n

However, this is not the first time the couple have had an awkward kiss as in March of this year at the BNP Paribas Open tennis tournament in California, he missed a photo opportunity.<\/p>\n

It was when he was focused on the game in front of him that Jenner was trying to get a selfie together, but he was too engrossed in the game in front of him.<\/p>\n

Then, when fans saw that Jenner kept her eyes open when she kissed Chalamet, they were baffled.<\/p>\n

One person wrote: “him not kissing her back and her kissing him w her eyes open is making me cringe.”<\/p>\n

Another said: “This is me kissing my cat.<\/p>\n

“But this also comes across a bit yikes because he is clearly into the match and not her in that moment so she looks a bit performative. But I say in that moment because who knows how he was otherwise. Moments in time don\u2019t a story tell.<\/p>\n

“I’m having second hand embarrassment watching this.”<\/p>\n
