Kavan Markwood is finally speaking.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Pittsburgh Pirates<\/a>\u00a0fan had everyone praying for him after he fell over PNC Park\u2019s 21-foot wall. The fall created a haunting scene at PNC Park, and some questions about how it happened have since been answered.<\/p>\n

Speaking with the\u00a0<\/a>Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, Kavan said he has been unable to watch any video of the fall that left him motionless on the warning track. Play stopped immediately as medical staff sprinted to the outfield to find a shirtless Markwood on the warning track dirt with blood visible on his face.<\/p>\n

Markwood reportedly described his injuries as \u201cbroken everything\u201d but said he is expected to be released from Allegheny General Hospital in about a week.<\/p>\n

From the Tribune-Review:<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m all right,\u201d he said. \u201cI can\u2019t really sleep. I have a lot of back pain.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kavan Markwood reportedly added that he\u2019s grateful for the donors to his GoFundMe, which was organized by his girlfriend\u2019s mother, Jennifer Phillips, and has raised more than $54,000 as of Thursday morning.<\/p>\n

Newer footage showed the 20-year-old jumping to his feet before his leg clips the railing directly in front of him in new footage of the horrific PNC Park incident.<\/p>\n

Security cameras took the heart-stopping video inside the stadium at the bottom of the seventh inning.<\/p>\n

The fall is being treated as \u201caccidental in nature\u201d by Pittsburgh Public Safety, which investigated the incident.<\/p>\n

Kavan Markwood was in critical condition after he toppled over a bar from his front-row seat in the right field bleachers over Clemente Wall at PNC Park last Wednesday.<\/p>\n

In the week since his accident, the Pennsylvania man\u2019s friends and family have been encouraged about his recovery. He has now broken his silence.<\/p>\n

The 20-year-old man remains in pain and described his injuries as \u201cbroken everything.\u201d<\/p>\n

He told TribLive on Wednesday that he hasn\u2019t seen video of what happened.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m all right,\u201d he told the outlet. \u201cI can\u2019t really sleep. I have a lot of back pain.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added of the injuries: \u201cI think when I get home, I\u2019ll just put ice on it.\u201d<\/p>\n
