According to one body language expert, Prince Louis is well aware of the fact he ‘overstepped the mark’ with one action to his older brother, Prince George.<\/p>\n

Earlier this week on Monday (5 May), members of the\u00a0royal family<\/a>\u00a0gathered in London to watch the VE Day parade but it’s clear the youngest of\u00a0Prince William<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Kate Middleton’s<\/a>\u00a0three children stole the show.<\/p>\n

At one point during the parade, 11-year-old George could be seen running his fingers through his hair to move it out of his face, only for\u00a0Louis to then appear to mimic him<\/a>, with an obvious display of exaggeration – something which viewers watching at home clearly found absolutely side-splitting.<\/p>\n

And now, speaking on behalf of\u00a0Big Fat Links<\/a>, body language expert Inbaal Honigman has shared her insights on why seven-year-old Louis knew he may have ‘overstepped’ the mark.<\/p>\n

“Just ahead of the little hair instance, it\u2019s apparent that Prince Louis is looking for something or someone to have fun with,” the expert began. “As he looks to the side, his tongue is in his cheek. This is a cheeky gesture that suggests he\u2019s looking for a game.”<\/p>\n

And a game he sure found.<\/p>\n

Inbaal continued: “When Prince George flicks his hair, the younger sibling doesn\u2019t miss a beat in copying him.<\/p>\n

“Copying behaviour is very common in siblings when they look up to the older brother and take their behavioural cues from them.<\/p>\n

“The fact that Prince Louis decides to turn his brother\u2019s grooming gesture into a little game shows that they have a strong bond, where the younger brother can safely make fun of the older brother and not worry that he might get into trouble.”<\/p>\n

Inbaal also shared that ‘each hair flick is very different’, adding the\u00a0emotional hidden meaning<\/a>\u00a0behind the gesture: “Prince George pats his hair as a grooming gesture.<\/p>\n

“He feels that he is in a responsible position and playing with his hair is a way of showing that he would like to be liked, and he would like to be appreciated.”<\/p>\n

Louis, as we know however, totally stole the show with his mimicry.<\/p>\n

“Louis’ is completely different as it comes with a jaunty flare and a slight eye roll, letting us know that he is making fun,” the body language expert pointed out, noting that the two brothers’ responses ‘differ’ after the hair flick.<\/p>\n

She concluded: “George stares at the younger offended wordlessly and directly, but Prince Louis looks away pointedly, refusing to meet the eye of the heir to the throne. He knows he may have overstepped the mark.<\/p>\n
