The 34-year-old critically-acclaimed music artist \u2014 who is dating\u00a0Travis Kelce<\/a><\/span>\u00a0\u2014 used her Instagram Story to announce the sale of First Draft Phone Memo, featuring an early version of the song, on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Her diehard fans quickly deciphered nuances from the nascent iteration of the track, which originally came out on April 19 on\u00a0The Tortured Poets Department<\/a><\/span>\u00a0album.<\/p>\n

Among the changes was a heart-wrenching lyric swap.<\/p>\n

\u2018Just say when, I\u2019d play again \/ He was my best friend down at the sandlot,\u2019 are the official last lines of the songs, but initially, in a slower paced version, Swift sang, \u2018He was my best friend and that was the worst part.\u2019<\/p>\n

The 34-year-old critically-acclaimed music artist used her Instagram Story to announce the sale of First Draft Phone Memo, the early version of some songs, on Saturday<\/p>\n

Swift explained the meaning behind the song on iHeartRadio in April.<\/p>\n

The music artist revealed the number was written from the perspective of a child\u2019s toy.<\/p>\n

She has a solo writing credit on the tune, which she described as feeling like \u2018being somebody\u2019s favorite toy until they break you and then don\u2019t want to play with you anymore.\u2019<\/p>\n

Taylor likened it to \u2018how a lot of us are in relationships where we are so valued by a person in the beginning, and then all of the sudden, they break us or they devalue us in their mind.\u2019<\/p>\n

The star emphasized, \u2018We\u2019re still clinging on to, \u201cNo no, no. You should\u2019ve seen them the first time they saw me. They\u2019ll come back to that. They\u2019ll get back to that.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2018So it\u2019s kind of like a song about denial, really. So that you can live in this world where there\u2019s still hope for a toxic, broken relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n

Other songs appearing on the First Draft Phone Memo project include\u00a0Cassandra, The Black Dog, and Who\u2019s Afraid of Little Old Me?.<\/p>\n

The digital album is only being offered for 24 hours, until Sunday, August 4 at 12pm \u2014 and it\u2019s for the United States only.<\/p>\n
