And everybody would know it. I\u2019m not a martyr. As a box-checking, a person who has been box-checking her whole life, doing the right thing, trying to always be an example, always going high, I think now I earned a little bit of \u2018well, how do I feel?\u2019 \u201c she mused. \u201c \u2018Do I want to upend my life and take this trip and leave my peace and my children for this?\u2019 I didn\u2019t have to, but that was my choice.\u201d<\/p>\n<div id=\"mntl-sc-block_32-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-adslot mntl-block\"><\/div>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_33-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\">Prior to this era in her life, Michelle said that she \u201cnever\u201d would have missed something if it felt like the \u201cright thing to do for other people to set an example.\u201d<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_35-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\">\u201cI think I just told myself, \u2018I think I\u2019ve done enough of that. And if I haven\u2019t, then I never will. other reason, they had to assume that my marriage was falling apart,\u201d she said. \u201cIt took everything in my power to not do the thing that was perceived as right, but do the things that was
