When Selena Gomez and her fianc\u00e9 Benny Blanco kissed for the first time she got a ‘rash’, and the singer has explained why.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0couple<\/a>\u00a0recently appeared on\u00a0Table Manners with Jessie and Lennie Ware<\/em>, where they chatted about the kiss that started it all.<\/p>\n

Gomez and Blanco<\/a>\u00a0last year announced their engagement, and in the podcast episode released today (30 April) they spoke about where it all began, and how the\u00a0Only Murders in the Building<\/em><\/a>\u00a0star got a ‘rash’ after the first kiss.<\/p>\n

Blanco explained: “We were hanging on our second date, towards the end of the date, we were sitting in the living room, on the couch and we were playing ‘We’re Not Really Strangers<\/em>‘.<\/p>\n

“And there was a thing where it said, ‘Take a selfie with the person next to you’, and we were already kind of lounging and she got right on my chest and took a selfie and then right after I just looked at her and I said, ‘I got to kiss this girl’.<\/p>\n

The singer said she ‘hadn\u2019t liked anyone in a very long time’ when she kissed Blanco for the first time (XNY\/Star Max\/GC Images)<\/cite><\/div>\n

“And I kissed her right away.”<\/p>\n

According to Gomez ‘it was a very good kiss’, but it produced such a reaction in the\u00a0singer<\/a>\u00a0that she got her ‘rash’.<\/p>\n

Blanco said that ‘her heart started beating quickly, she started getting a\u00a0rash on her face<\/a>\u00a0and she was so nervous’.<\/p>\n

Sharing why she’d reacted like that, Gomez explained that she ‘hadn’t liked anyone in a very long time’.<\/p>\n

“Some kisses are for fun and then when you feel something behind the kiss it\u2019s completely different,” she said of matters of the heart.<\/p>\n

“I had been alone for about five years with the exception of a few s****y dates here and there, but never felt that way.<\/p>\n

“And I was a little embarrassed, but he was like, ‘Are you okay?’ And I was like, ‘No, no, I\u2019m fine’. I didn\u2019t want to be like, ‘I like you, I really like you’.”<\/p>\n

Given that they’re set to tie the knot it seems clear that she does like him, she really likes him.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in their relationship, for Valentine’s Day, Blanco filled her\u00a0bath full of nacho cheese<\/a>\u00a0and left a trail of nachos leading up to it and a loving message spelled out by the crispy snacks.<\/p>\n

They recently\u00a0raised a few eyebrows<\/a>\u00a0among fans for some saucy items spotted in the back of social media snaps, as though people ought to be surprised that a young couple have a healthy sex life.<\/p>\n
