While seated in the Cabinet Room, Musk was photographed wearing a red Gulf of America cap styled similarly to the well-known “Make America Great Again (MAGA)” hats. Earlier in the year, on January 20, 2025, President Donald Trump signed an executive order to rename the Gulf of Mexico as the Gulf of America.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Aside from the cap, Musk appeared to be dressed entirely in black. In one video, the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) leader was seen wearing the red cap atop a black one before removing both to speak.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
