Melania Trump revealed the meaning behind the affectionate nickname she gives her son, Barron Trump.<\/p>\n

Barron<\/a>, 19, is the son of\u00a0Donald Trump<\/a>\u00a0and First Lady\u00a0Melania<\/a>. He is the US president’s youngest child.<\/p>\n

The teenager is currently a student at\u00a0New York University<\/a>\u00a0(NYU) and has been studying and attending classes at the Stern School of Business since September last year, having graduated from Florida’s Oxbridge Academy.<\/p>\n

Mum<\/a>\u00a0Melania spoke about her son during an interview with the now defunct Parenting magazine, explaining that she has an affectionate nickname for Barron.<\/p>\n

While it’s hard to imagine that a person who is six foot seven could ever have this nickname, Melania revealed that she calls him ‘little Donald’.<\/p>\n

“He is a very strong-minded, very special, smart boy,” she said, adding that ‘he is independent and opinionated and knows exactly what he wants’.<\/p>\n

Many people have pointed out how much Barron resembles a younger Trump too, with one person writing on X: “Barron striking resemblance to a younger Donald.”<\/p>\n

While another said: “He looks so much like young Donald Trump.”<\/p>\n

Melania has previously spoken about her son and how he has been settling into college life in New York.<\/p>\n

She\u00a0told<\/a>\u00a0Fox & Friends<\/em>\u00a0last year: “I don’t think it’s possible for him to be a normal student. His experience at college – it’s very different than any other kid.<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m very proud [of] how he\u2019s handling [it]. He\u2019s very strong and he knows that he\u2019s in a different position than other children.”<\/p>\n

Apparently, Barron has had to come up with a rather creative way of chatting to his friends.<\/p>\n

According to<\/a>\u00a0Page Six, Barron communicates with his mates on Xbox, due to security issues with him giving out his phone number.<\/p>\n

“He has added it to his repertoire,” said a source. “It\u2019s his communication platform of choice.”<\/p>\n

Apparently, Barron cannot give out his personal phone number due to security issues, with the source adding that it ‘creates more trouble than it\u2019s worth’.<\/p>\n

They explained: “If people get the number, they would give it out and then a million people would be calling non stop. You\u2019d have to change the number constantly and it\u2019d become a merry-go-round.”<\/p>\n

Of his chosen communication method, the source added: “It\u2019s his work around. He\u2019s still trouble shooting.”<\/p>\n

It’s said that Barron only communicates on the gaming platform with people he knows.<\/p>\n
