JoJo Siwa has opened up about what actually happened with her ex-partner, Kath Ebbs, at the\u00a0Celebrity Big Brother<\/em>\u00a0wrap party as she has finally broken her silence on the split.<\/p>\n

Anyone tuning into the hit\u00a0reality TV<\/a>\u00a0series this past month will no doubt know all about the absolute chaos that this season has been this year, with\u00a0JoJo<\/a>\u00a0and former\u00a0Love Island<\/em>\u00a0star Chris Hughes being one of the biggest talking points.<\/p>\n

Now, for some context, viewers had speculated whether\u00a0JoJo, 21, and Chris, 32, were too \u2018flirty\u2019 with each other<\/a>\u00a0and the online speculation was only fuelled when Kath took to\u00a0social media<\/a>\u00a0to issue a statement revealing that\u00a0JoJo ‘dumped’ them<\/a>\u00a0right after leaving the\u00a0Big Brother<\/em>\u00a0house.<\/p>\n

But the latest update in the saga has now seen\u00a0JoJo speak alongside Chris during a segment on\u00a0This Morning<\/em><\/a>\u00a0earlier today (28 April), when presenter Cat Deeley asked the\u00a0Dance Moms<\/em>\u00a0star: “You’ve grown up being on\u00a0TV<\/a>\u00a0shows. You understand it. You’re very open and honest. There’s been\u00a0so<\/em>\u00a0many different reports over this weekend, what’s the truth?”<\/p>\n

JoJo replied: “So many things, that is one of them, but so many things. And then I, you know, obviously I wanted to hold them inside, though, because I didn’t want to air that out very publicly.<\/p>\n

“But there were countless things that I was like, that’s not, you know, something that I should be okay with and I don’t need to be okay with and I’m not happy, and I knew as soon as I got out, I wanted to fix things in my life and make the changes that I needed to make.”<\/p>\n

Looking at Chris – who JoJo has been very close to throughout\u00a0CBB<\/em><\/a>\u00a0– she added: “I’m very grateful that I had you in there for support and for comfort. Because even though you didn’t know what was going on in my brain, you were still obviously and still obviously are like support.”<\/p>\n

Presenter Ben Shephard then interjected: “You did it very quickly. I mean, you sort of made those changes at the wrap party, by all accounts. And your ex has sort of come out and talked about that as well. So that’s obviously gonna shine the light on it.”<\/p>\n

“Yeah,” JoJo replied. “I’ll be honest, that was not a plan, that was not an intention, that was not supposed to happen like that.”<\/p>\n

Sharing details about what apparently went down during the wrap party, she carried on: “Initially, I was told that, you know, the wrap party was something they didn’t want to attend. And then about an hour into the wrap party, they decided they wanted to, and so I was genuinely just going to have a conversation before, and then it just led to another.<\/p>\n

“They straight up asked me if I was happy, and I said no. And, you know, one thing led to another, and that conversation did take place there.”<\/p>\n

Ben then asked if JoJo’s relationship with Chris was a ‘catalyst’ in the decision, to which Chris responded: “Our friendship is just a really strong bond between two people, which is just a strong friendship.<\/p>\n

JoJo and Chris confirmed their relationship was strictly ‘platonic’ (ITV)<\/cite><\/div>\n

“And I think you can have, like a soulmate friendship. I think that’s a thing. And to me, it’s like that energy of where it’s not like the standard friendship that you have with your friends, but it’s, you know, it’s still a friendship.<\/p>\n

“You know, we are friends and it’s just nice, and I found it strange because it was such a strong friendship. But having someone in there to go through an experience like that and have someone there every day when you’re emotional, when you’re down, when you’re happy, that was beautiful.<\/p>\n

“Like that is a genuinely an amazing thing. And probably my favourite thing I got from the whole show.”<\/p>\n

Ben then asked if JoJo would like the friendship to turn ‘romantic’ to which she explained: “Look, he’s a great guy. It is platonic. We have a lot of fun together.
