journalist Tony Dokoupil asked Belichick, 73, how he met 24-year-old Hudson<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Hudson, who was sitting just outside the frame, interrupted the interview and sternly said, data-type=\"internalLink\" data-ordinal=\"1\"><em>The Art of Winning: Lessons from a Life in Football<\/em><\/a>, the legendary former NFL coach, 73, sat down for an interview with CBS News&#8217;\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/cbssunday\/status\/1916494537062572360\" rel=\"nofollow\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-type=\"externalLink\" data-ordinal=\"2\"><em>Sunday Morning<\/em><\/a>\u00a0\u2014 which aired on April 27 \u2014 and Hudson, 24, came along for the ride.<\/p>\n<div id=\"mntl-sc-block_6-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-adslot mntl-block\"><\/div>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_7-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\">The Maine native \u2014 who supported Belichick on the interview set in a matching sweatshirt \u2014 sat just out of the main frame, with journalist Tony Dokoupil describing her as a \u201cconstant presence\u201d during their conversation.<\/p>\n<div asking Belichick how he feels with all of the public interest in the couple\u2019s relationship and private lives.<\/p>\n<div id=\"mntl-sc-block_12-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-adslot mntl-block\"><\/div>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_13-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\">&#8220;I\u2019ve never been too worried about what everyone else thinks,\u201d the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/jordon-hudson-supports-bill-belichick-at-unc-football-practice-11714944\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-type=\"internalLink\" data-ordinal=\"1\">UNC-Chapel Hill head football coach<\/a>\u00a0replied, adding that instead, he just tries \u201cto do what I feel like is best for me, and what\u2019s right.\u201d<\/p>\n<div id=\"mntl-sc-block_17-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\">Then, Dokoupil asked about Belichick\u2019s relationship with Hudson, and specifically how they met \u2014 and the former awkward pause by stating, \u201cIt\u2019s a topic neither one of them is comfortable commenting on.\u201d<\/p>\n<div id=\"mntl-sc-block_25-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-adslot mntl-block\"><\/div>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_26-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\">The journalist then turned his attention to the glimpses the couple has already given into their relationship \u2014 Hudson\u2019s Instagram posts, including a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/bill-belichick-girlfriend-jordon-hudson-do-beach-yoga-together-photos-11697821\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-type=\"internalLink\" data-ordinal=\"1\">snap of them doing beach yoga together<\/a>, and a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/bill-belichick-catches-girlfriend-jordon-hudson-24-as-a-mermaid-on-the-beach-for-halloween-8738066\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" Dokoupil pointed out that these pictures show a \u201cdifferent side\u201d of Belichick and asked him what the reaction has been like, the interview got awkward once again, with the coaching legend
